Deh778 question about Rgb histogram not turning off.

\015 I forgot to tell you that the problem is with the Nikon D80 \015\012It appears that there are many problems with this camera ?\015

Answers :

If you haven't solved the histogram issue by pressing the multi selector up or down or rotating the sub-command dial to choose photo information display then OK.  The D80 is a very reliable "prosumer" camera meaning it's more than a consumer model offering better quality and features commonly found on professional camera models, if you are a budding photographer and desire more control over the images you take and the options to take creative images working with the amount of light, the shutter speed and may other aspects the pros do then it's worth it, if those features are not important then having all the control might be a problem if that isn't what you are after.  Early digital cameras were pretty poor quality and could never compare to film cameras, even the early model D70 had some issues with battery life.  Take the time to learn about this camera and you will be very happy.  I know several professional photographers who use the D80 and find Nikon stands behind the camera.  If you have any other specific problems or issues let me know, I'd be glad to go over them. \015\012

No Power After flying on a recent trip and having my camera x-rayed it acted strange. When I turned it on it asked me on screen if I would like to update the software. I selected the no option, then NO IMAGE appeared on the screen. I turned it off and back on again with the same results, update question then no image. I did this again and answered yes to the update question and it began the updating process as indicated on the screen by a bar but never made it past 50%. This went on for 5

Low Battery When turning the camera on, the screen often says "Low Battery", even if the batteries are brand new. The problems seems to last a few hours, then it turns on as normal. I have tried cleaning the contacts and the battery tubes, but nothing obvious seems to cause it, or solve it. Sometimes, it cuts out to "Low Battery" in the middle of taking photos, when the charge indicator on the screen has just been at full. Memory First of all I found that the instruction manual wasn't very informative... it covered the basics but nothing on memory or if it needed to be charged before the first use. "busy" Error Yet another Canon 20D question. I have been shooting both film and digital at weddings for the last two weeks. I have been very impressed with the 20D (I shot Nikon for 22 years). However, I have had my share of camera errors on the 20D. Lately, it shuts down in the middle of shooting and the LCD panel reads "busy." The busy error does not go away when turning off the camera. At first I assumed that the buffer was maxed, but I'm only shooting in single shot mode. Eventually, after m
