Having problems with your Nikon D80 Digital Camera with 18-200mm Lens ?

Function buttons all pop flash

\015 None of the buttons on the left side of the back of my Nikon D80 perform their proper function. When I push the playback, menu, white balance, ISO or image quality button, the flash pops open and the anticipated function is not performed. When the problem first began, I was able to access the playback function when I first turned the camera on, but not after someone else took a couple photos. Now I can't playback at all and I discovered the other buttons also don't work.I tried pushing the reset button, but now I can't reset the clock because I can't open the menu. I've also tried removing and replacing the battery and the memory card. I recently used an SDHC card for the first time and thought that might have messed things up, but it still doesn't work with an SD card. I'm still able to take photos, no problem. But it would be nice to be able to do more.\015

When i turn my camera on, it seems fine, all buttons functional. When i take a photo, it flashes, but no photo will pop up in my screen. Instead the screen stays black, and then the battery starts to get really warm. then i cant turn it on or off, the only way to get the batter to stop heating up, is to take it out of the camera. i can put the battery back in, turn it on again, but it will say no pictures had been taken, and the problem continues every time i try and use it. There is no history
