Having problems with your Nikon D90 Digital Camera with 18-105mm lens ?

Every once in awhile, our D90 hangs up and won't autofocus and take pictures. An error message is displayed but can be rectified by removing and putting back in the battery. The battery display usually says it's O.K (at least half full). Is this a battery problem or battery connection problem?

Answers :

First, clean the battery contacts in the camera with a cotton swab lightly dampened with rubbing alcohol. Then, do the same with the contacts on the camera body and lens where they meet.
