Nikon D90 only takes one photo even in continous high mode

\015 The settings also say 3fps but only one photo is taken when when the shutter is pressed\015

Answers :

Hi,

You have to set the drive mode to H for continuous High.

The button is on the top of the camera next to the LCD.
It has an icon of overlapping rectangles.
It sets S (single frame), L (continuous Low), H (continuous High), Self Timer and Remote Control.
Just press it again until S is shown to get back to single frame.

Have the Nikon D90 camera and it does not allow me to take pictures when ever I want. It is in full auto mode and just does not want to take the picture even in bright day light. The F keeps on blinking in full auto mode and even if I switch to manual mode it does not allow me to change settings. It is very frustrating! what is wrong with this D90??

The blinking F-- means that the camera doesn't think a lens is attached. You can try removing the lens and re-attaching it. Or if you have another lens, try that. There are quite a few reports of this issue with the 18-135 kit lens. ... Nikon D90 Digital Camera with 18-200mm lens

Dim Photos My G3 has begun to take very dim photos, all iso speeds are affected plus Auto mode. It can barely focus, even with the assist light on. If it was the light meter (setting too high an aperture?) it would probably be able to focus, right. When I take a picture it always sets f2.0 1/60 sec, even at iso400. Is it the image sensor?

Put the camera in to the full auto mode. If the pictures are still dark, it is possible that the apature inside of the lens is not working. There is a micro-motor, gear assembly, iris leaf assembly, and a servo amp circuit that drives the apature. Th ... Canon PowerShot G3 Digital Camera

Someone asked me to take photos with my Nikon D90. I have the 18-105mm lens that I got with it. Is this able to take 'wide angle' photos?? I know there are special lenses made specifically for wide angle photos, but is this one capable of doing so?? Thanks for your answer...sorry if I seem so ignorant....I'm new at this. Thanks again!

The 18-105mm lens at the 18mm end of the zoom range is a pretty fair wide-angle lens. Look through the viewfinder and turn the zoom ring (the big wide ring at the front of the lens) one way and then the other. The 105mm end is the view that looks lik ... Nikon D90 Digital Camera with 18-105mm lens

Nikon D40 pictures taken but too dark even in AUTO mode with flash on a bright day. also, some days ago I had the Shutter release error message while taking some photos. After that, the camera is acting weird, pictures sometimes are taken but the picture is always dark, although flash is used and AUTO mode selected. I do not see the error message anymore, but the camera simply do not take pictures properly. I tried formatting, etc with no result.

My G10 will automatically take 3 photos in one shot on if it is not on auto mode. Even if I've already set it on single photo mode.

It turns on but won't take a picture when you push the button! I downloaded the pictures on the card because I was told maybe it wouldn't worked due to a full card. It did have 2300+ photos, but only 77 new ones, which downloaded just fine. I deleted the card and tried to take a picture in normal mode, but nothing happened. It doesn't work in ANY mode...not even movie! We have had trouble with the lens protector doors jamming, but that's not the problem now. They open, lens goes into position an

Hi. I am on vacation in the Indian Ocean islands at this moment with a brand new Nikon D90 + 18-105 lens. Was taking photos this morning. From one shot to another, the camera suddenly stopped working. I'm having a couple problems with my Nikon D90 and for the life of me that manual is too confusing, The first problem I'm having is.... I'm taking pictures at my sons wrestling events and I can't get it to take clear pictures. If i put it on sports it's one of the worst with blurriness. I don't know a good setting for this? The next problem I'm having at the same events is red eye and or white eye. I know how to change the red eye option however it doesn't stop it from happening and even if I

I imagine your son's wrestling events are held in school gyms with lighting that is less than ideal. If you are taking pictures without a flash then the blurriness you describe could well be due to a slow shutter speed. Your camera is using a slowe ... Nikon D90 Digital Camera with 18-105mm lens

Dark photos I am a new Nikon user and have the D80. This is way more camera than I will ever need. I can not take pictures without them being dark not even in the auto mode. This is inside or outside I have two lenses and have switched them and it's still dark. I was able to change the exposer to get them lighter but would think you could take pictures in auto that would be fine.

When I take a photo with my Nikon D90 in auto mode and flash i get a dark spot on the bottom of the image on the lcd that resembles a shadow. there is no shadow in the picture. What is casuing this?

This is more than likely a shadow from your lens. The on-camera flash is in a fairly low position, and I am able to duplicate your description when using my D200 on-camera flash and a physically longer lens- in my case a 28-70 F2.8 lens. Using a hot- ... Digital Cameras

We just received our brand new canon t3i in the mail. I have a Panasonic Lumix FZ35.. I adore this camera, it is light, takes great photos and easy to learn. However, awhile back I encountered a problem with the setting's dial. It is not lining up correctly and now does not set to certain modes, or it skips one. This is particularly the case with the Scene setting and the close up setting. The camera is still under warrenty since I have not even had it 8 months. I was wondering if this is something that a camera repair place could adjust simply. I

Nikon D50 I have been reading through Fixya to try and find a similar problem. I have a Nikon D50 and have been using it with no problems for over a year. I have had the Nikon D40 for about 4 years. It has performed wonderfully and I love it. Just recently, the battery suddenly died (in one hour it went from 3 bars to one) and after several failed attempts to charge it, the camera would not allow me to take photos due to the battery needing recharging (flashing one bar). I ordered a new Nikon battery and put it in the charger when it arrived today. It registered that it was charging and after over an hour said it was completely charged. When
