Blurry Images Hi, I have a coolpix 5700 and sometimes when I take pictures with it and later go look at them on the camera's display they start out blurry and then "snap" into focus. However, when I later load them on my computer, they remain blurry. I can't find anything in the manual describing this phenomenan but it really annoys me because the pictures look so good on the camera, but I can't get that quality on my print outs or monitor display. Does anyone know anything about this? I'd like

Focus Problem I recently bought Olympus C-750. The real problem i have with it so far is that when I point the camera towrds the subject, its focus is adjusted automatically and the subject looks very focused and clear, but when i press the shutter button, the camera re-focuses and makes the subject blurr and in the end pictures come out very blurry. Kindly help me out with that, i.e: do i need to do some setting to avoid that??? and plus i cannot find the manuual focus option in the camera.
I have the C740, which I believe works very similarly if not identically. Unless you have the camera in full time auto focus, I don't believe it actually focuses on the subject until you've pressed the shutter button half way. Until then, the subject ... Blurry Pictures I have had this camera less than a year. I took it to the beach 2 weeks ago and the camera was fine. Crystal clear pictures. Then, on the last day of vacation, the pictures started coming out blurry. Even when I am preparing to take a picture the view finder is blurry. The camera is on auto focus and it is set to the shoot and click setting (little green camera). It didn't get wet at all. Anyone know if there is a setting that I may have touched or is this an internal problem.

I have a Canon 20D camera that I use with two lenses. The lens that I have most of my problems with is the 28-70 f2.8 red ring lens. When focusing It always seems to focus on what is behind the subject. No matter how much I concentrate on the focusing sensor to focus on the subject -AND it looks like it focuses on the subject-UNITL I load my photos and look at them in disgust that it focused behind it!! What is going on?? I use the same lens on my friend's cannon 5D and NEVER have this problem.

My Nikon D5000 gives out blurry pictures and the auto focus sometimes does not work. I've sent the lens to be examined & repaired and today I tested it again after being repaired. Today I took a picture of a person standing in front of a wooden fence and instead of focusing on the person (which was my intention), the camera focused on the fence. The result: The fence is sharp but the person is blurry. What causes this? Is it the lens or the body? How can I solve these problems?

I have never had any problems with my camera, it is about 2 years old. Recently, all my pictures have turned out blurry, it seems like the camera is just not auto focusing. I had a problem with this one day, then it started working again, and now it won't focus again. I don't understand if there is something wrong with my camera, or if I accidently pressed a button I shouldn't have.

Canon 30D out of focus on EF 28-80 mm zoom 3.5-5.6 This is a cheap lens but even at f16 on 28 mm it is not very sharp. My 10-22 mm 3.5-4.5 not much better and 90-300mm 4.5-5.6 the same. Blurry pictures I have had this camera for a couple years and have taken thousands of pictures with it. I have been very happy until recently most of the pictures are blurry and look like the camera is not focusing properly. I am wondering if it is possible (if not common) for grit to get in the lens mechanism restricting the lens from moving to the fully extended position. I am considering a professional cleaning but don't know the cost/benefit when weighed against just buying a new camera.

My wife has a Canon 60D DSLR camera. When she looks through the view finder, it looks like the lens has a speck of dust on it as she can see it in the viewfinder. She has swapped lenses and the spec is still there. She used the auto clean function for the sensor, but the spec hasn't moved, This is almost a brand new camera. Should we clean the sensor by hand? If so, how do you do it?
