Restore factory settings for the camera nikon d90

Answers :

There are two ways to reset your settings to the factory default settings on the D-90. First, next to the control panel window on the top of the camera are two buttons (+/- and AF) marked with little green dots. Hold these two buttons down together for more than two seconds and factory defaults will be restored to all settings except custom settings. All settings, including custom settings, can be restored from the menu with the little pencil icon. Instructions and details can be found in the users manual on pages, 75, 172 and 260. If you have misplaced your manual copies are available for download on this site and on the Nikon website at www.nikon.com.

This has nothing to do with the camera, but instead it has to do with the lens you are using. The standard lens you are using has an aperture of f/4.5 which is common across many lenses. If you wish to shoot in low light you need a lower "f-stop". ... Nikon D90 Digital Camera with 18-105mm lens

Do you think there's something wrong with the camera or the viewfinder is always blurry and grayish when it's off. I have owned D40 earlier and I could play around with the viewfinder even when the camera was off.

My Pentax Optio A20 camera display doesn't show true colors, they now have a red-orange tint. It was dropped on the grass yesterday. When I play back the pictures, all of them show up as red-orange on the display, the ones I took before it was dropped and after it was dropped. Everything else works fine on the camera. My brother-in-law says that there may be a reset button to restore factory settings.

It sounds like you may have a broken display. It is possible that it is the main board, but much more likely that it is the LCD display. I can fix this for $40, not matter if it is the display, or the main board. Or you can send it to Pentax in A ... Pentax Optio A20 Digital Camera

I have a nikon d200. The last time I used it (only a few days ago) it was fine, everything normal. Then yesterday I pull out out of the case and everything seems to be going wrong. It is metering INSANELY low, like a shutter speed of 100 in full daylight produces a REALLY dark image. It won't auto focus at all, and i am unable to change the fstop in manual or aperture priority modes. I tried to restore it to factory settings and the lcd screen flashed to indicate it had been restored but no luck
