How to set self timer for D90 - Nikon D90 Digital Camera with 18-105mm lens

Answers :

Instructions for this are on Page 179 of the D-90 users manual. First go to the menu and select the custom settings menu then scroll down to "timers/AF Lock."
\012
\012Select this then select the number of shots you want the camera to take at one time on the self timer setting. Exit the menu.
\012
\012Then go to the top of the camera and find the little button to the right of the control panel which contains a series of stacked rectangles.
\012
\012Depress this button (camera must be on) and the control panel will clear. Rotate the wheel on the back of the camera while holding the button down until you see a little clock symbol.
\012
\012If you have set it in the menu to take only one shot, you will see only the little clock. If you have set it to take multiple shots you will see the series of stacked rectangles next to the little clock.
\012
\012Depress the shutter fully then walk or run to get in the picture. Just before the picture shoots, the autofocus light will flash warning you that the picture is about to be taken. The camera will shoot in the amount of time you have selected in the menu.
\012
\012If you want to shoot another delayed shutter picture, repeat the procedure using the button and wheel.
