Hello david. thanks for selecting fixya. look in the menu for the reset function and reset your camera. that should solve your problems. if it does not, go to nikon.com and find the repair center near you because you do not want to void the warranty.
Hi. Fl is flash error. There is a fault that is concerning the built in flash unit. Try removing batteries and SD card, put batteries back and restart the camera. If this simple reset does not get rid of the problem, then the camera must be taken apart and tested by a technician. The internal fault is also causing an excessive power draw, this is causing the battery to drain faster. Call Nikon at the number listed on the owner manual to get a quote on repair. Regards.

Good Day. I dropped my Nikon Coolpix L16 camera onto a table. Since then when i switch the device on the lens goes out about a quarter and the goes back in and i get a lens error message. I noticed that when the lens goes out it bends to the right(looking from the top) and gets stuck by something. When i pull the lens a little to the left while switching it on everything works fine. A very small metal part came out of the camera. Any ideas? is it repairable?

I have a Nikon S6 digital camera, everything about the camera seems to work fine, except for this "lens error" message I keep getting. Sometimes I'll turn it on, and I can use it just fine. But then there are other times where I have to turn it off and on in order to get it to work. And then there are those times where turning it off and on don't help. I usually give up and try again later. Sometimes it'll still give that error message, and other times, it will just work like normal. What can

Won't work Have a C875 for a year now, and it has been working just fine. The other day I decided to try a AC adapter on it. Well, the AC adapter I used is one of those variable voltage ones. I set the voltage for 3 volts, plugged it in, it doesn't work. O.K. I put the batteries back in, still don't work. And, to top it off, the batteries get hot. Took the camera apart and I don't see anything burned up. Lost. Any help on what the solution could be and how to fix it would be greatly appreciated.

No matter what I do, my camera keeps giving me a "Battery Depleted" message whenever I try to turn it on. It's a Pentax Optio E40, and I've only had it a couple of weeks. It was working fine, but then one day when I tried to turn it on, I got this error. I replaced the batteries, but the error still came. I've checked the orientation of the batteries, tried re-inserting them, etc, but nothing seems to work. Please help! Thank you!

Flash Error Hi there, bought this camera about 6 months ago. I'm intermittently getting a problem with the pop-up flash. It pops up fine, but the screen gives me an error telling me it hasn't and won't take any shots. Have to keep switching it off and on and hoping it will work again. Sometimes it's a couple of days before it works again. It will take shots when I switch the camera to the 'no flash' setting, so it does seem to be just the flash. The error says that the flash release is jamming,

The error 5 can mean that there is something blocking the flash from popping up. If it is up but still get the message then you need to check to see if the little black pin/stick that lets the camera know that the flash is up, is not stuck. With the ... Canon EOS 400D / Rebel XTi Digital Camera

When I recently turned on my camera (D-630 Zoom) to take a picture, I got the message titled Card Setup, with two options "Power off" and "Format". I turned the camera off, took out the memory card (1GB) and put it back in, as I did the last (and only) time this happened, about two years ago. But it has not worked, and I have been getting this message with the two options for a few days. Any ideas? Thank you.

The usb port on the camera no longer works. I believe I unplugged it "hot".
