Having problems with your Nikon Digital Cameras ?

Hi, I seem to be getting an unusual amount of noise on my images. D3x 50 1.4g AFS lens. ISO 100, 200 and more. This is especially so in the darker areas. This is used camera and wonder if there is a problem. Thanks

\015\012When buying a used anything, there is usually some reason its being sold, and sometimes it's significant, sometimes it's not.
\015\012People at camera repair shops know more about them, and possible defects, than anyone else. If I were you, I would take the camera and some printouts of your pictures, and see what they thing. It's possible they can check settings, or give you a good idea of what's going on.
\015\012I would think a camera of this caliber would have very low noise properties, and perhaps they can scrutinize if the problem is with the lens or camera works.
\015\012Good luck, hope this helps, and thanks for using FixYa.
Hi,\015\012
\015\012first set your cam to factory settings. and see the result. If you still face the same problem then adjust EV, sharpness or contrast levels.. if still you face problem then there is a mechanical error in picture processing, get it serviced...\015\012

Hi , My Fuji S9600 has just refused to power-up using batteries, although it still powers-up and operates correctly when i attach the mains PSU adapter. I wonder if this is a common occurrence on this model and how easy it is to get sorted. I have used rechargeable batteries since the camera was new (approx 3 yrs) and have tested the batteries as V.good. So i'm assuming that the problem is with the camera somewhere. Do you think if i reset the camera in the menu that would cure the problem , or

Focus malfunction I have been shooting with my D70 for a little over a year now with absolutely no problems. I shot with it last weekend with no problems. However, yesterady when I took my camera out to use it I realized that my autofocus single area option won't let me change from one focus area point to another. It is stuck on the center focus area. Even stranger when I tested the autofocus on the closest subject mode it is capable of locking on each of the five focus points. Does anybody know

I got my camera around January 2008 but I haven't gotten to use it for around a year and a half. This is the first time I can try to fix it due to costs and other problems. I think the camera is having CCD problems because I can't take pictures without them being black but I can see previous pictures just fine. I've heard that repairs for this sort of thing are expensive especially once the camera is out of warranty- with luck, mine happens to be out of warranty. How can I fix this? And if I wer

Hi all, I wonder if you can supply some advice regarding a Sigma17-35mm lens I purchased earlier in the year. Basically if I use the automatic or 'P' setting on my Canon EOS 30D camera the image is over exposed by 1 to 2 stops. If I use the same functions with my Canon 18 -55 kit lens the exposure is correct so I would presume the camera is not causing the problem. The only way I can get a correct exposure with the Sigma lens is to compensate manually for each shot. Please note the exposure p
