My Nikon D60 keeps freezing up. Sometimes when I go to take the picture it works fine and other times, it won't take the picture but if I hold down the button it will eventually take after a few seconds. I've more than likely switched a setting but I don't know which one and how to set it back to the default settings.

Cannon EOS500D, taking a picture in creative modes I have to press the shutter button twice to take a picture.(not counting the half pressing of the shutter button. the second pressing of the shutter button can be any length of time to take a picture. My D40 does not shut off properly, and sometimes turns on by itself. It seems to be getting worse, and sometimes I can only get it to turn off by putting the on/off switch in between the two settings. Also, sometimes if the camera gets left on I have trouble taking pictures the next time I go to use it (even if the battery is still charged).

Obviously something is wrong with the on-off switch. I would have it serviced. ... Nikon D40 Digital Camera with G-II 18-55mm Lens

Sounds like my camera. Check your manual it is probably a two step button. You need to push it halfway down until you meet resistance. This is when the camera is adjusting the focus and light exposure. Then continue to press down until you get th ... Olympus Stylus 710 Digital Camera

Flash has stopped working on my Nikon D40. I've tried a factory reset, tried to get to the flash setting but that menu option is no longer available (highlighted) in any mode. I'm thinking it's broken and not a setting thing. Everything else works fine and it still takes pictures just without the flash. The flash pops up when needed but no flash obviously.

There's a common problem in the flash arm. I found this link that shows a simple repair. If you use this and make the repair yourself, understand that you will void your warranty if you have one. I can't get my camera to flash or work in the "Auto" mode. I've cleared all of the images, reset the settings and use custom settings. I place the camera on "Auto" and turn it on. It goes into the delay mode for 59 seconds and then goes to sleep. It won't take a picture or flash.

Set the ISO as high as it will go and the aperture as low as possible. That is as good as it gets without investing a lot of money in pro cameras and lenses that are needed to shoot action in low light. I have a D300 and a 70-200mm f2.8 lens that tog ... Nikon D60 Digital Camera

No pictures I have a Moultrie DGS-200 camera (about two years now) and have used it only twice. The first time I got no pictures although it said there were 5. The second time was last weekend where it said 12 pictures yet there were none. When I first set it up at home it would trip from 20-25 feet away. Now I can wave my hand in front of it and it may or may not trip. What am I doing wrong.

Continuous shooting I'm new to this so bare with me. I just got my Nikon D60 and I want to shoot pictures in continuous mode. I set it on manual, go into the menu and change it to continuous. I rotate the dial so it changes the shutter speed but when I take pictures it's just a black screen. As a matter of fact any time I try to take a picture in M it's just black. I'm hoping that there is just a setting I need to change and there's not something wrong with my camera. Thanks.

Hey man. Im not sure how new you are but basically i think your problem is you need to decrease the shutter speed to around 1/200-1/250 of a second and increase the apeture to around f10/12 and see if that works. If your operating at a high shutter s ... Nikon D60 Digital Camera with 18-55mm lens
