Having problems with your Nikon Digital Cameras ?

Nikon D50. Stops shooting at about 49/50 pictures. Refuses to take more.

F-- means the CPU in your AF camera body cannot communicate with the CPU inside your lens. That means either your lens is an older manual-focus one and has no CPU or there is some electronic communication problems. \015\012 \015\012If you have an AF lens on your camera and still get F--, I would first clean the electronic contacts in the lens mount area, on both the body and the lens.
\015\012have you checked if the lens has the aperture switch blocked?
\015\012reset it. If it is a G lens, clean contacs, battery contacs too, reset all, even the camera and try.

My Nikon p100 camera's shutter button has stopped working. I press it to take a picture and it "stops" the image, but doesn't actually take the picture. Sometimes after trying several tries it will take the picture, but not consistantly. I got it in June.

Continuous shooting I'm new to this so bare with me. I just got my Nikon D60 and I want to shoot pictures in continuous mode. I set it on manual, go into the menu and change it to continuous. I rotate the dial so it changes the shutter speed but when I take pictures it's just a black screen. As a matter of fact any time I try to take a picture in M it's just black. I'm hoping that there is just a setting I need to change and there's not something wrong with my camera. Thanks.

Hey man. Im not sure how new you are but basically i think your problem is you need to decrease the shutter speed to around 1/200-1/250 of a second and increase the apeture to around f10/12 and see if that works. If your operating at a high shutter s ... Nikon D60 Digital Camera with 18-55mm lens

Crash I greatly enjoyed the D70 until it suddenly stopped taking pictures. I got the dreaded ERR message. WE tried different batteries, lenses, cards, etc., but to no avail. This is a real bummer. I have used Nikons for 30 years. Currently, my F100 is also at Nikon. The back latch catches simply cracked and fell off! Plastic.A couple of years ago, the self-timer stopped working and Nikon had to replace the software circuits. (The warranty had run out.)

The D70 has a reset button at the bottom of the camera. Firts of all, I think you have checked you have the correct lens inserted (at least D mount) and well done, checked your memory card is correctly inserted, and if you have another, change it.Che ... Nikon D70 Digital Camera with 18-50mm Lens

NIKON D70 I have a Nikon D70 Whilst taking a series of photographs I get through to about 40 images then the camera stops shooting and the format card display comes up on the display. I'm having a couple problems with my Nikon D90 and for the life of me that manual is too confusing, The first problem I'm having is.... I was having troubles with my Nikon D2H as in it wouldn't take a picture. I then realized my memory card was full so I deleted a few photos and it worked fine. This afternoon I deleted all the photos from the memory card and now it's having the problem of not taking photos again. I played around a bit with the settings, but it will only take 5 to 10 photos before no it stops taking photos. It used to hold 100+ with the memory card I have. Help?

I recently used my 860G on a diving trip to Roatan. After shooting some terrestrial pictures (outside the housing), I shut the camera off. Hi i am using a Nikon N75 to take pictures for my photo class, and the instructor wants us to take low light indoor phtotos at a shutter speed of 1/30 at f2.2. However, when i go to set these settings in manual mode the camera will not let me set my aperture to 2.2 it usually stops at 4 and there is no way i can make it 2.2. i didn't know if there is a limitation on the camera but it seems like i should be able to select what i want.

It's probably a limitation of your lens. You didn't say what lens you're using, but one of the common kit lenses sold with the N75 only goes to f/3.3 at best. If you had a lens that opens up more, the camera will let you use it.The differ ... Nikon Digital Cameras

Taking pics I just got a Nikon D40 camera and I can't seem to figure out how to view on the screen what I'm looking at when I'm trying to take a picture. I can view them in play mode after the fact, but isn't there a way to see on the screen instead of having to look through the little window to see what I'm shooting? Thanks in advance for any help!!!
