I have a Kodak Easyshare model dx5430 digital camera (5mp). It has worked like a champ for years. Last night I was at an event when the image display went dark at picture 31. All preceding photos were able to be reviewed. The camera flash works fine. The camera displays all the other characteristics of a working unit. It turns on and off; the flash works, the menu is accessible - everything. It just doesn't register any photos. Even in close-up mode, there is nothing. It's as if the lens cap is

I have a Nikon D70 and i am a photographer I shot a customers photos today. I shot the first half of the photos on this compact flash card and downloaded to my computer and then put it back in the camera and formatted the card. Nikon L10 has developed a flickering screen overlay (zoning lines or actions such as alter flash priority) When trying to close off the menu overlay a section of it remains and obscures the view from the lens. Hi, I seem to have a problem with my Finepix Z1 digital camera. When I take a shot it seems to work ok, and the initial review image seems fine as well. But when I go back and review the image on the camera, or off the memory card via my computer the image is distorted. The best way I can describe it is as if the image appears that I took a photo off something on the tv, with a series of horizontal lines running across the image. The video capture seems to work fine though. Can you offer any sug

Black photos When I turn on my camera (Nikon Coolpix S5, I believe), I can access old photos and see the symbols that are usually on the screen when it used to take photos. However, if I take a photo with it, it is just black. The camera flashes and acts like it has taken a photo. There is no lens cap, so that is not the problem. Is the camera simply broken?

External Flash I set my Epson 3100z camera to manual mode and set up the camera for external flash. I manually set the shutter speed to 1/60 sec and the aperture to F4. I also set my SunPak flash to F4. My exposures seem pretty good. However when I review the various photo info's, the aperture reading is F5 or F4.8 not the F4 I set. Why is this? I have a Cuddeback C-1000 trail camera. Mostly all the pics taken at night are black. About every 8-10 pics will take. The rest are black. Apparently the flash is not going off every time.
