Hi. I am on vacation in the Indian Ocean islands at this moment with a brand new Nikon D90 + 18-105 lens. Was taking photos this morning. From one shot to another, the camera suddenly stopped working. When I press the shutter button, it still focuses and when I click through, I can hear the shutter clicking (tried this with different shutter speeds). However, no photo is captured/stored. Also, the Lv button no longer works. When I press it, the camera is unable to switch from viewfinder to LCD l

Someone asked me to take photos with my Nikon D90. I have the 18-105mm lens that I got with it. Is this able to take 'wide angle' photos?? I know there are special lenses made specifically for wide angle photos, but is this one capable of doing so?? Thanks for your answer...sorry if I seem so ignorant....I'm new at this. Thanks again!

The 18-105mm lens at the 18mm end of the zoom range is a pretty fair wide-angle lens. Look through the viewfinder and turn the zoom ring (the big wide ring at the front of the lens) one way and then the other. The 105mm end is the view that looks lik ... Nikon D90 Digital Camera with 18-105mm lens

Just recently, the battery suddenly died (in one hour it went from 3 bars to one) and after several failed attempts to charge it, the camera would not allow me to take photos due to the battery needing recharging (flashing one bar). I ordered a new Nikon battery and put it in the charger when it arrived today. It registered that it was charging and after over an hour said it was completely charged. When
