On my Kodak C360, as soon as I remove the batteries to put fresh ones in, the date/time setting rests to 2005/1/1/12:00. This doesn't happen on my C340. Is there a tiny internal memory battery that is at fault?

I have a Kodak Z1015IS, about 16 months old, that has not been subject to any type of liquid or damage. One day I went to use it and I was not able to adjust any of the PASM settings (i.e. f-stop, shutter speed, etc.). All other hardware and menu systems work just fine, it is just that the settings are locked in place (at the levels of my prior use). I've tried updating the firmware, formatting the internal memory, and removing the battery with no luck. Just spent time with Kodak, and a

Olympus D-435 Our camera has been working fine until last week when we started getting this error message - memory full on a blue screen when we had taken only one photo (and deleted all previous photos). Thinking there was a problem with the memory card, we removed it and used only the camera's internal memory which worked for a short while - allowing us to take 12 shots - but now it will only let us take 1 shot before giving us the error message. Is there anything I can do? Many thanks

You can try updating the firmware of the camera since this is not a problem with the memory card its with the camera itself you can check Olympus web site for software update on this.Hope that helps....... ... Digital Cameras

I have had my S9600 for 4 years, for most of that time, when i changed the batteries, all my settings remained the same. Now, when i change the batteries, every setting has returned to factory standard (stupid beeps and whirring noises, no date etc) and i have to reset everything. The user manual has no mention of an internal battery, but i figure there must be one and it now needs replacing. How do I do this?

Have checked all 4 different batteries and voltages all appear at of above specified 3.7 VDC. Still only one of the 4 will ever allow the camera to functio

A voltage test alone cannot determine if the battery is good unless you can have the current rating of the battery tested. So if the camera comes on after a charge it seems that the battery is not retaining current for the camera to boot on.\01 ... Nikon COOLPIX S710 Digital Camera

Before Christmas, I was in the EasyShare program, looking for a particular picture. I have had the Nikon D40 for about 4 years. It has performed wonderfully and I love it. Just recently, the battery suddenly died (in one hour it went from 3 bars to one) and after several failed attempts to charge it, the camera would not allow me to take photos due to the battery needing recharging (flashing one bar).
