Hello, First I will say the problem. Nikon D300 closed itself and never opens. I have Nikon D300 body + Cosina 100-400mm + Nikon 18-200mm VR. Last week I bought these from second hand. Everything was excellent.2 days ago my cosina dropped to floor. every part went to different way. I collected them together. But mechanically there was no problem. Nikon FM: Shutter release button will not allow me to take another photo and I'm only on frame 15 of a roll of 24. The film advance lever does not move the film, but it does open all the way to the right & shows the lights on inside (so the battery is OK). I changed the battery just in case, but that didn't solve the problem. I'm wondering if the film somehow came undone inside.

The FM is a mechanical camera, the batteries only power the metering system. Sometimes what happens is when you buy film say in 4 roll packages, they give you 3 24 exps and a 12 exp. I suggest that you rewind the roll and check this. You will only ... Nikon Digital Cameras

Tokina AT-X PRO 28-80mm 1:2.8 lens has recently developed a problem when mounted on my Nikon D200. The images are way too dark and my only way to obtain usable images is to bracket heavily. This lens has worked flawlessly on film Nikons and, until recently, worked flawlessly on the D200. I am now also having AF problems with the lens. When I attach any of my Nikon brand lenses - no problems. Can you help? I really love this lens.

I have this lens also but with a canon mount and loved it to death when i had film. I started to use it on the digital and like your experience it worked well for a while then started to produce faulty registered photos.. too dark and some too light. ... Digital Cameras

Compare the Nikon d80 to the new d90. Can I use all my manual focus lenses from my Nikon film cameras? Also, all my filters and flashes.

All old lenses will work on the D90 the same way they work on the D80. Filters depend on the lens -- they either fit or they don't -- the camera has nothing to do with that. I wouldn't use old flashes on new DSLRs.There really is no diffe ... Nikon Digital Cameras

I have a nikon f65 camera and can't figure out how to put the film in it. I am used to using manual cameras with the film advance lever.

Just put the film cassette in as you did in your manual camera, pull the leader over toward the takeup spool, just to the red mark - no further. Then close the back and it'll wind automatically. If it doesn't, turn the power switch on-off-on. ... Nikon Digital Cameras
