I have a powershot a620. The battery compartment is coming undone...where you hold it..so the batteries have a little jiggle room. When it first "popped out" a small amount it was fine. on a recent trip it started coming apart more and the batteries then quit holding a charge. A fresh set of batteries now lasts about 20 min. I am guessing it might be because they don't have as good of a connection but I cannot get that part of the camera to go back under the "lip" and am afraid to take it apart
