Blurry area on photos taken with Olympus Stylus 770 SW. Does not matter if taken with flash or not, indoors or out. Blurred area is about the size of a US 25 cent piece when viewed in Picasa, usually in the same area on all photos on the right side. Details of image can be seen thru the blurred area.

Focus malfunction I have been shooting with my D70 for a little over a year now with absolutely no problems. I shot with it last weekend with no problems. However, yesterady when I took my camera out to use it I realized that my autofocus single area option won't let me change from one focus area point to another. It is stuck on the center focus area. Even stranger when I tested the autofocus on the closest subject mode it is capable of locking on each of the five focus points. Does anybody know

Just few days before I purchased Nikon P90. Earlier I used Sony H50. I am very disappointed with P90. Reasons are : i) The LCD display is very poor compressing with Sony H50. ii) Battery levels are not displayed unless the power is too low. iii) Picture quality not very satisfied. iv) If I take a close picture, the subject size is changed. (example, I take a close picture of my daughter for passport size picture, but my daughters' face is changed in picture). It is very pleasurable for me if

When shooting indoors with my 300d (base rebel digital),I have been encountering some light metering problems.I use the 430ex as an external flash. While shooting a subject in front of an external light source-(window, etc.), no matter how small of the frame area include the outside light source, the cameras light meter will invaribly expose the entire image based on the outside ambient light, causing the image to be grossly underexposed. Do you have an explanation/solution for this aggrivating

Set the metering mode to Partial Metering. This uses only 9% of the field of view, centered around the middle square in the viewfinder, as the subject area. If you still find it too bright, try changing the exposure compensation a couple of clicks. ... Canon Digital Cameras

The wide-telephoto lever and the shutter are sticking. this just started after a cruise in the Caribbean where on one occasion the lens and view finder fogged up when I passed through a pool area on the ship. the other problem I'm having is getting it to focus on the correct subject like closeup of flowers which it wouldn't do. I bought this camera new several years ago and really love it.

Could be some moisture causing the sticking. You could bury the camera in rice for a couple of days to absorb the moisture. As far as focusing on a correct subject in a close-up, you should set your auto focus on spot focussing. Then, only a tiny por ... Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ1 Digital Camera

FinePix 2300 I am wondering how good the Macro is on this model. My father-in-law received the 2300 for Fathers Day and he wants to be able to take close up photos of jewelry and rocks with good resolution. The jewelry is any where from Penny size to necklace size and the rocks range in size, but the small ones is what I am concerned about. Any suggestions what model might be better for this type of work if the 2300 will not work would be much appreciated.

Focus Problem I recently bought Olympus C-750. The real problem i have with it so far is that when I point the camera towrds the subject, its focus is adjusted automatically and the subject looks very focused and clear, but when i press the shutter button, the camera re-focuses and makes the subject blurr and in the end pictures come out very blurry. Kindly help me out with that, i.e: do i need to do some setting to avoid that??? and plus i cannot find the manuual focus option in the camera.

I have strange digital image file size problems. For example, if I upload a 6 mb file to my photo sharing website (Google Picasa) at the highest resolution, it will indicate that it is only 1.8 mb.
