If you do not own a media card reader for your PC go and buy one so that you can plug your XD card directly into your computer. Then download this software.

I have a Kodak EasyShare V550 camera. I've had it for years and had no problems with it until recently. Now I am unable to upload photos to the computer. I have a panasonic lumix DMC-FS7. Used it for many years with 4GB SD card insitu. Recently took some precious photos and am trying to copy photos from camera to PC. Yesterday I took some pictures and when I reviewed on camera they all show up. However when I go to download on computer, one photo wont show up. It just shows as an icon. My Canon 5D mkI turns on ok, will focus, displays top and back, but it will not take a shot. I have two batteries, both which I have charged to full and tried (display shows full charge). I have also tried two seperate CF cards. I have tried cleaning all contacts. Still it won't take a photo. The shutter will work when I use the "clean sensor" function though. My Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ2 camera has a blurred display within 25 seconds of being turned on when in any mode other than playback.
