The button that contros the zoom and shutter snapped off my camera. It appears that the tips of the three tabs sheared off. The small spring that brings the zoom button back to center is still attached to the camera. If you set the button back in place, the zoom and shutter will still work, but the button comes right back off as you take your finger away. Can a new button be ordered and snapped on? If so, where would one order this part?

I have an Olympus E300 and I don't know what I did but when I turn on to take photos now the display shows "0" photos available to shoot even though I've essentially cleared all images off; and when I press the button to shoot it will not snap. I have tried the factory reset ( P setting, w/ open FC door holding playback and ok etc etc ..) and this has not helped. Help! Thanks....Sandra

Camera flash i generally use my camera on auto mode so i don't have to play around with buttons! however after loaning my camera to my sister for a week my flash is no longer as great as it was!! I used to take pics and the flash would light 2-3 times giving a great, bright picture. It now flashes once before the pic is snapped giving a dark picture. If i push the flash button on the left side of the scrolling circle it goes from red eye flash (which flashes once) to no flash! I'm almost certain

No worries, I think I can help you with this one.\015\012I believe that if you are using your Samsung Digimax in either "Auto" or "M" mode you will only have the options of "red eye flash" or "no flash". BUT HOWEVER, if you select the "Prog" mo ... Samsung Digimax S600 Digital Camera

I have an Olympus D-460 Zoom 1.3 megapixel which I've had about a year. I bought it used and it was working fine up until about a week ago. Whenever I snapped a picture the button seemed to get stuck and nothing would happen and also the flash wouldn't go off. I would have to close the lens and re-open it again to get it working. Do you think that maybe the batteries I'm using are too weak? Let me know. Thanks.

Yes, you are right. The batteries have gone out of power for sure. I had a similar problem with my cam sometime before. The battery actually doesnt gets 100% discharged. Itworks whenever you repower the cam. But when taking a picture it just needs mo ... Digital Cameras

I've had my Panasonic Lumix DMC LX3 for about just 3 months. It has worked like a charm until today, when suddenly several things have gone whack, as if the calibration died. I just uploaded pix to my computer, but I can't erase them from the camera. The buttons do not respond. When I turn the camera on, it goes immediately to the "Burst Shooting" window, and doesn't respond to the select buttons. It just blinks and beeps on the "Normal" selection. When I try snapping a picture, nothing happens.

My camera problems have been resolved, although I can't attest to how or why. After about six hours, as I prepared to pack off the little guy to the manufacturer, everything had gone back to normal. I'm left only to speculate that maybe the camera ad ... Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX3 Digital Camera

My Pentax OptioW90 stopped reacting to the operating button (ie focus and exposure) so would not shoot. I could change all the options including going back to factory settings which I did a couple of times Next day it had the same problem as other people of taking a couple of flash photos on start up then freezing with no response for any options. So now it is as good as dead. Used for 6 months with lovely photos and no known water leakage

Hi Experts, I bought an Olympus C170 camera 6 years before. It was good... recently due to some problem Technicians changed Lens in my camera.. Now the problem is I feel some delay time while I am shooting.. I am not able to grab the scene which I suppose to take. Once I pressed click button.. it takes some time to get flash/photo. Please clarify what would be the reason... Is there any setting needs to be done in my camera .. or its a camera issue.

Hi I just bought Nikon D3100 and I was just taking snaps and playing around with the buttons on it and all of a sudden my camera would not autofocus while taking pics! How do I get it to autofocus again?

If it's not autofocusing at all, then you've probably turned it to manual. On this camera, the autofocus is in the lens (so take care if you buy extra lenses for it!) so the auto/manual switch will be on the lens itself. Exactly what it looks like de ... Nikon D3100 Digital Camera

Used Vivitar 70-200 zoom on my K200 Pentax. Nothing but aggravation since.
