Having problems with your Olympus FE-330 Digital Camera ?
I THINK the battery is in backwards -
\015 How to I remove the battery when it won't come out on its own? I know I used the camera then put it aside for several months. Now it says the battery is empty and I can't remove it. Can you help? I don't think I live close to an Olympus service center.\015
Perhaps you could grip and remove the battery with tweezers but be sure they are plastic as anything metal could short circuit the camera and cause unrepairable damage

Battery issue Hi, I've owned this camera for about 1 year. In the last couple of months the red battery icon will flash and the camera will shut down thinking it has dead batteries. The problem is, we may put in brand new batteries or fully charged re-chargable batteries and the icon is there right away. Does the mini battery inside need to replaced? If that isn't the problem then I have no idea what is wrong with thing......my last camera did the same thing (Fugi)

Battery Problem I was given an SD9 last month and so far like it except for some battery issues. Using fresh AA's it will often give me the 'low battery' warning as soon as they are loaded. I bought the CRV3's thinking that would solve it, it did initially, but after about 40 shots I took them out, tried some new AA's and again the low battery warning... replaced them with the CRV3's again, low battery (surely they were not run out after 40 shots?!) Everything is fine using power cable... but

Battery drain The batteries seem to drain quickly even when not in use. We bought new rechargables thinking it was the batteries but could it be the camera. Is there something that may be draining the batteries?

Samsung s500 I just bought this camera about 8 months ago, but it has never seemed to work right. It goes thru batteries like crazy. It will only take about 3 pics for every new set of batteries I put in it. I think I have spent more in batteries now han I originally did on the camera. Someone said to get rechargable batteries, this would be cost effective, however does not solve my problem of 3 pics before I would have to recharge. What can I do?

The camera was dropped in water for a few seconds. I managed to take the battery and memory card out after I retrieved it from the water. The camera was then dried and I was able to take a few pictures after the mishap. It's been a few weeks now and the camera does not work. I tried to charge the battery, thinking it was a bad battery, but the battery charger would continuously blink a red flash for hours! Can this camera be saved?

Battery loss why have you not responded to the battery loss problem? I believe that the FE-310 has a major issue with battery retention. I think you need to replace these cameras. I have spend a lot of money on batteries. I have owned olympus cameras before and never encountered a problem such as this. Very costly problem at that!!!

After power on, green light comes on. On opening the touch pad viewer orange charge light comes on and whole camera shuts down leaving orange light lit. The only way to turn off the orange light is to remove battery. Since the battery is showing more than 90 mins remaining..I doubted it ay be battery but on changing battery with new one problem exists. I think it may be to do with the connection of touch pad viewer at hinge location. If i flip open fast the touch pad viewer stays on...then on

There are two indications of how the batteries are inserted into this camera. One is on the lid ( + and -) and one is within the battery hold. The ones inside the battery holder are completely opposite of what is on the lid. Which one is the right way? I ask because freshly charged batteries are NOT working no matter which way I insert them. There is NO MANUAL with this camera, which I think is a cheap way for Kodak to sell these things. Very dissapointed with this camera.

Hi, I wrote in a couple of days ago about my camera resetting every time I turn it on. It's a Casio Exilim EX-S500. It appeared that the battery wasn't connecting right. I bought a new battery, thinking it might be the battery itself, but it's not. It's just not catching when I push it in. Is there a way to fix this? It doesn't appear that anything is broken/missing in the battery compartment. Thanks in advance for your help.

If i remove the battery, I still have to turn it on & then off again to get the lense to retract. Can you help to solve this problem. It does it no matter what the charge in the battery is like.
