Having problems with your Olympus i:robe IR-500 Digital Camera ?

My IR-500 will not focus whether I lock focus or not. When I half depress the shutter & get the green light I press the shutter & then get a severe motion blur. This occurs in all scene modes. It does not happen when using flash. Please advise -jim

Answers :

Your shutter is staying open too long. Do you have it set on "bulb" or "time exposure" or something like that? It doesn't happen on flash pics because the flash is so short, it freezes the action.

Nikon D300s shutter button not working intermittently. Have to turn off and on to get back to work. It's not a focus problem. I've been using this camera daily for a year.

Sounds like you have a bad release switch. The switch is a bunch of stacked rectangular metal leaves, and they develop metal fatigue or just crack with heavy use. Unfortunately Nikon stopped selling parts July 13th, 2012 so you are pretty much out of ... Nikon D300 Digital Camera

Poor focus I am using the Nikon d80 with a Sigma 24-70 mm lens. I am not satisfied with the crispness of the photos. I have tried shutter speeds of 1/500 and higher, using a tripod, and using shutter delay to get better clarity and sharp focus, but none has worked. The quality is not as good as my 2 meg Sony! Is this to be expected from the 10 meg cameras? thanks! [email protected]

Not focusing I'm in the process of attempting to help my friend fix his DMC-FX9 camera. The problem is that it doesn't tend to focus on ANYTHING. It will focus if you zoom in [about halfway)or use macro, but it won't focus if it's not zoomed in. I tried changing the focusing modes, the photo modes. I don't know what else to do, has anyone else run into this problem? He's had the camera for to long to return it, so I'm hoping that I can help him make it usable again. Shutter button on my digital rebel xt stopped working. I can press down far enough (halfway) to get it to focus but then it won't click all the way down and release. For several months before this final calamity, it would frequently happen that when I went to take a photo the button wouldn't engage at all and I'd have to try several times and miss the shot I wanted before I could get the shutter button to engage. Now that it's not working at all, I sent it to Canon for repair and have just rec

I have a rebel xt 350D , using 75-300mm 5.6f lens to do some girls basketball photography inside a gym. Had camera set on: ISO 1600, M mode, 5.6f, 200 shutter speed (that seem to set automatically), used built in flash, Exposure level was in the middle of the chart, auto focus, al servo, continuous shooting, used awb. Got pretty good freeze action shots, with little or no blurring but the photos were dark. Some I could make lighter with photoshop but lost some detail and the contrast was too muc

Hi, I've just recieved my nikon d90 back from a repair and service, and although everything appears to be working fine, whenever I want to change shooting modes,( auto, P, M, flash off etc), they only work once I have selected them, and then turned the camera off and back on. I am using Canon 1000D dslr for more than 18months, it was working fine until last Sunday.
