The auto setting stopped working - I usually always had it set on Auto, then "Auto" became video (same setting as video setting) for some reason. Now, it won't take pics on certain settings and only lets me take pics on a fast setting, so pics always come out blurry. Sometimes won't let me view or forward through pics. I've charged battery. Do you think I need to replace the battery?

I have had an Pentax Optio S10 auto focus camera for about 3 years and it hasn't missed a beat. But now it will not take photos in flash mode. I have tried the usual settings as per the manual, and noticed a previous posting of the same issue. The response was to recharge the battery, which currently I am doing. The indicator on the camera's LCD however shows the battery to be almost fully charged though. Would this be the same issue? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Graham

My Panasonic Lumix DMS-ZS3 has auto face recognition on and I usually use it with the intelligent auto setting and all other defaults. Is this why it takes so long to take a pic (long enough for the subject's smile to fade!) and to recover afterwards so I can take another?

The flash has been working fine until last night when I tried to take a picture and the flash was set to auto. When I press the button the little red light beside the flash sign lights up, but the camera does not take the photo. When I set it to flash mode, it still won't take a photo. I have had a nikon D60 for the last 3 years.I normally use the auto setting and for the first 2 years it took beautiful photos almost every time. in the last year or so when i try to take a photo it often displays iso auto r 09 in the bottom right hand corner and won't take the photo and this doesn't appear to depend on lighting. Is there something i can do differently? Should i take the camera for a service? Thanks

Last night was taking photos indoors with flash on auto setting. All appeared fine except thre was a vertical line on the viewfinder, not quite half way across. After about 4 flash photos, the flash turned itself off and it wouldn't allow me to adjust the settings back to flash again. I checked the setting and it was still on auto and there was plenty of battery left. Tried a couple of shots and they took, but no flash, so useless. Hi i am using a Nikon N75 to take pictures for my photo class, and the instructor wants us to take low light indoor phtotos at a shutter speed of 1/30 at f2.2. However, when i go to set these settings in manual mode the camera will not let me set my aperture to 2.2 it usually stops at 4 and there is no way i can make it 2.2. i didn't know if there is a limitation on the camera but it seems like i should be able to select what i want.

It's probably a limitation of your lens. You didn't say what lens you're using, but one of the common kit lenses sold with the N75 only goes to f/3.3 at best. If you had a lens that opens up more, the camera will let you use it.The differ ... Nikon Digital Cameras

Dim Photos My G3 has begun to take very dim photos, all iso speeds are affected plus Auto mode. It can barely focus, even with the assist light on. If it was the light meter (setting too high an aperture?) it would probably be able to focus, right. When I take a picture it always sets f2.0 1/60 sec, even at iso400. Is it the image sensor?
