Seriously confused... It was only 6 days ago when I went to my favorite photo-outlet to have my S2 CCD-chip cleaned. One of the main 'cons' of my camera is the amount of dust that is sort of living nowadays behind the viewfinder and the LCD screens. It rather bothers me that a piece of equipment -at that time costing about 2600,- euros- is that sensitive for external influences. But anyway, camera still works fine and in some way it has become a part of me. So I was very enthousiast when the ann

Photos taken now not visible on memory card. I'm currently on vacation and have been taking photos on my DMC-TZ5. Camera has been working fine, until yesterday. I took a number of photos of a particularly memorable day when none of the group had a camera with them. Every time a photo was taken the image was displayed for a second before being able to take another shot. A number of times I went back to check the photos, each time the photo was visible. However, when I returned home and p

Missing photos Hi, IF photos were there and are not showing up, is there a way to look at the camera's internal memory in case they are still there? How do I switch between the camera internal memory and the memory card to find my missing photos? I took my first 6 photos. Went home, loaded the software on my laptop. All working fine. Before connecting the camera I successfully viewed the photos on the LCD and pushed a few camera buttons (not the trash can!) and could not find the photos. Is ther

Black photos When I turn on my camera (Nikon Coolpix S5, I believe), I can access old photos and see the symbols that are usually on the screen when it used to take photos. However, if I take a photo with it, it is just black. The camera flashes and acts like it has taken a photo. There is no lens cap, so that is not the problem. Is the camera simply broken?

Camera: Panasonic Lumix DMC-FT1 Problem: Camera is not saving photos Hi, my camera started responding very slugglishly yesterday. I took a few pictures, and some of them wouldn't save. If I tried to switch my camera off, the screen would freeze on the "Saving photos". I checked the SD card on my laptop and those photos were coming up as blanks. I formatted the card and the camera recognises it, but it's still not saving photos. When I try to view the photo I've just taken, the screen goes blank

Canon A560 camera problem - the images are overexposed. I checked the exposure setting, AWB, and all other settings and they are all normal. There is an exposure setting where I can set to + or - 2, but setting it to -2 does not help much. Outdoor photos are almost completely white. There is some detail in black objects. Indoor photos are overexposed. Flash pictures seem OK. The picture on the display is OK. I compared some macro photos taken a few weeks ago with macro photos now. The good photo

Photos unread I have an Olympus Stylus 720 SW with the same problem. When I upload photos, some are corrupted and are chopped with parts of the photo misplaced. It has nothing to do with computer as it does this on all computers. I'm not using a reader, but simply uploading VIA USB cable. Some photos are so corrupted, I cannot even get a partial view of the choppy remnant of the photo taken. Could this be a memory card problem or a camera problem? I don't know.
