Hey emeffem,
\015\012 What is most likely causing this is that the flash is set to off which would be symbolized by a lightening bolt sign crossed out. Directions on how to turn it back on are on page 13 of your camera manual. I have included a link to a PDF download of your camera manual in case you no longer have it. I hope this helps!

I've had my Olympus FE-340 for 3 years, and I've never had any problems with it before. Now, whenever I try to zoom in, the camera takes white pictures or pictures with streaks in them. I've tried reseting the camera, changing the battery, changing the picture card, switching settings, and turning the flash on and off. Is there any way to fix the white/streaky pictures? Or, does this mean that my camera will no longer work when I try to zoom in?

Broken MIrror? well your sub-mirror is broken inside of the camera, i had the same problem, it just happens by itself after extended use of the camera, and it is not a means for recall by canon so you have to deal with it yourself.  this website can fix it for $130 and they will replace it with a metal piece so it doesn't happen again(original piece is weak plastic) I just read the above solution.  It looks like I may have the same problem - I have easily taken 50,000 pictures with my Canon Rebe

My Canon SD950 IS camera will take about 30 seconds to take a flash picture. You have to hold down the shutter button for a long time. The flash indicator flashes on the display for quite a while and then the picture is finally taken. This seems to have happened after the battery was run down to nothing. After that, this flash problem appeared. I have got another battery but this still happens. I have reset to default settings as well . Still has problem. What is wrong?

Canon sd900 I seldom use my canon sd900 and I usually take pictures without using the flash. But I recently noticed that my hands should be very very steady, just a slight movement will cause the picture to be blurry or unclear. I usually don?t use the flash because it gives a darker background with your face too white from the flash. And my problem arises when I would request other people to take my picture because 90% don?t have a steady hand thus giving me a blurry picture.

Flash problem So, I set the camera to 'Flash On'. I take a picture and the flash goes off for about a quick second. I look at the picture and it's nothing but a black background, sometimes white where I can only slightly see the object I took the picture of. What's wrong with my camera? This only happens sometimes, by the way. Sometimes I take a picture and everything's normal.

Hello. I have problems taking pictures with my Cobra DCA1030 indoors. The flash either seems to be entirely too bright or if I don't use the flash the picture is too dark. Pictures taken outdoors turn out fine but I wish I could use it indoors as well. I wasn't sure if there were any recommended settings that would make for better indoor pictures? Thank you, Jason S

I first experienced a problem with my Canon S2Is camera when it was only taking pictures of blank images. I found a "fix" recommendation which seems to have gotten rid of the black image problem. However, now when I take pictures the images seem to have horizonal lines through them if I don't use the flash. Also, if I am taking a picture outside or in a lot of light, the image ends up being extremely light. Have any suggestions?

Blurry LCD Well, I have recently got a SD400 camera from dell.com. The first thing I noticed was the inaccurate LCD. The picture in the LCD seemed blurry(bad resolutoin, weird coloring) and inaccurate. But, after actually taking the pictures, the picture seemed perfect. (In the review mode and the display right after you take a picture.) Is this a problem? This is my first digital camera, thus I had no previous experience with camera LCD. I am having a problem with my camera. It works in the sense that it turns on and takes pictures. However, the both the digital lcd display and normal finder display remain black, even after removing the lens cap. I let a friend borrow it a little while ago and I suspect they may have changed some settings, but I'm not sure what to look for to fix it. When it takes pictures, they come out looking very distorted and strange. But, it does take pictures, the flash goes off and a picture records. c

The camera was working fine. I imported the pictures to Picassa succesfully and turned the camera off. I then went to take new pictures and all I get is a black LCD screen and when I load into Picassa the pictures are all black. The camera seems to work well, zoom, flash menu all seem normal except there is no picture. Can it be fixed and would it be cost effective?

The CCD is bad or the Iris is shut stuck. If it's the Iris just stuck, it might just have moisture - leave the camera in a dry place for a day. If it's the CCD - pretty much "kiss-it-good-bye". To replace the CCD is expensive - get a new camera. ... Digital Cameras
