Having problems with your Olympus Stylus 720 SW Digital Camera ?

Please help! My Sylus started taking grainy pictures. It is not due to poor lighting because even with bright light, the pictures turn out terrible. Could it be stuck on some setting?

Answers :

Bacause of the high ISO? or check your shooting mode, is it in anti-shake mode? if yes, the grainy effect will be obvious no matter u have good lighting or not. If the picture taken in an outdoor with enough light, i am sure will not have this problem.
\015\012Hope this help!
Check the picture quality setting and make sure it's on the maximum number of MP's and highest quality.

Bright pictures I have had my Sony Cyber Shot (DSC-S650) for about 6 mo. The flash has been working fine until last night when I tried to take a picture and the flash was set to auto. When the cameras turned on the picture on the LCD's very very dark and the picture has a red tinge when exposed to bright light. could the lens be faulty?

I was taking pictures into bright sunlight switching between manual and automatic settings, and manual and automatic focus. First, the picutre would take, but the shutter would not open (viewfinder would remain closed) switching from manual to automatic focus fixed this issue. Canon SD600 I used my camera to take pictures of fireworks and I noticed that afterwards, all the photos I was taking outside in daylight were turning white. If I take pictures in the dark, they turn out perfect, and low light pictures are fairly normal except anywhere where there is a light source (lamp, window, etc) the color is streaky and orange. My Canon EOS rebel suddenly won't take pictures in dim light. The flash pops up and blinks and blinks trying to register the image but won't ever autofocus and take the picture. The light has to be very bright for it to take a picture. I have gone through all of the settings and everything seems to be correct. Any thoughts?

To autofocus the sensor needs a fair amount of contrast (light and dark eges) to operate. If you're trying to take a photo in a dim room of a dark colored subject for instance the focus won't lock and the camera won't take the picture. Try switching ...
