You could try the new lithium primary batteries .. i think your camera uses AAA batteries .... the lithiums have a higher voltage output than normal cells and they last much longer .. they cost more but they cost about the same when you consider how long they last ..and the price is coming down .. so before long they will be a bargan ... worth a try anyhow to prove your theory of high trip point .. if you are using rechargables then some of those have a lower voltage than others .... many have a very high self discharge rate .. so you have to charge them just before you use them ... there is some new type batteries available that have a very low self discharge rate ... they are a new version of NiMH and they can stay charged for a year ... one is called hibred ??? another "eneloop" .. and i cant remember the others but you can look for "low self discharge NiMH ..the terminal voltage is slightly higher and they can be charged many more times then normal NiMH ... .

How do I clean specs of dust from an olympus OM10 camera? I have an OM10 that has not been used for many years. My kid is hoping to use it in a college class she has next semester but I noticed it has specs of dust/dirt when I look through the viewfinder. How do I clean this.
