Battery life When I first had this camera, about 3 years ago, the rechargeable batteries I bought seemed to last for ages. But more recently the "low battery warning" has been coming on very shortly after inserting freshly charged batteries. I have tried using ordinary batteries (high powered) but even with these I can only take a few pictures before the warning light comes on. Once the light is on, the camera goes dead after a few more pictures so it's not giving me a false "low battery" warnin

The rechargeables are only meant to last a couple years maximum (pretty good that you got three out of them). Also rechargeable NiMH's have approximately 5 times the power of standard alkaline batteries. Alkaline batteries should only be used in em ... Canon PowerShot A710 IS Digital Camera

I have just bought a 8GB Panasonic memory chip for my Kyocera Finecam M410R camera. But it comes up with card error on it. I put back my little old 124mg card and it is fine. Can I use a panasonic card with my camera or does it have to be a Kyocera one which my smaller one is?

The brand isn't important. The 8GB card is an SDHC(secure digital high capacity) card and the smaller one is an SD. Your camera may not be able to use an SDHC card. Try formatting it in the camera before giving up on it. ... Kyocera Finecam M410R Digital Camera

Camera: Panasonic Lumix DMC-FT1 Problem: Camera is not saving photos Hi, my camera started responding very slugglishly yesterday. I took a few pictures, and some of them wouldn't save. If I tried to switch my camera off, the screen would freeze on the "Saving photos". I checked the SD card on my laptop and those photos were coming up as blanks. I formatted the card and the camera recognises it, but it's still not saving photos. When I try to view the photo I've just taken, the screen goes blank

We have a Panasonic DMC ZS3 camera that has been working fine until now. We are on the North West coast of Costa Rica. When you turn the camera on, the lens, which was out when shut off, goes in, then comes back out. The camera screen tries to focus, then goes to a blank screen and says "SYSTEM ERROR (FOCUS). When you shut it off, the lens does not retract.

7 May 2010 Hi there, I have an Olympus camera that I bought in June 2007. I had a two-year guarantee, which ran out last year. Now my camera won?t come on. This happened once before but when I put in new batteries (although the batteries I was using were fairly new), it worked again. Now, however, I?ve had no low-battery warning light and one minute the camera was working, the next it had stopped. I?ve tried putting in new batteries (straight out of the packet) but it?s made no difference. Can y

A secondary problem I am having with the same camera is that I have to turn the ON/OFF switch on and off several times before the lens finally comes out.
