Panasonic DCM-TZ5. Poor pictures and videos at night inside under artificial light. what is the best setting to use please?

Answers :

Select the best resolution in your settings camera to improve the pic quality
\015\012Low light? Go to ISO settings and select the average level (ISO 400) to get more night light to your pics without loose quality.
\015\012There are 5 ISO settings available on the Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ5 which you can select at any time if the camera is in the normal shooting mode. There is virtually no discernible noise at the slowest settings of ISO 100 and 200, and ISO 400 also looks very good. Noise and slight loss of detail is apparent at ISO 800, particularly in the shadow areas, and at the fastest setting of ISO 1600 image quality has deterioated quite a lot as the camera blurs detail to try and hide the noise. There is a High Sensitivity mode that goes up to ISO 6400, but it should be avoided at all costs as the results are terrible. The best option is ISO 400 for nights pics.......
Basically you need a slow shutter speed with a high flash for pictures at night to come out clear.

A lower ISO setting.

You also need to manual focus.

Close-up picture Hi! I purchased my camera to take up close-up pictures of handmade greeting cards. The cards are 4" x 5 1/2" with lots of little details. I'd like to show as much detail as possble. I'm not sure what the best setting are? I've tried using the flash, but the whole picture just glares out, the light bounces off of the card and makes a big glare in the center. Without the flash, the picture is too dark. Can you help me figure out the best setting to use? Or, what kind of lighting

Indoors it's always better to use a flash. Your camera will switch to proper settings automatically on auto mode. Indoors you can use ISO 400, 1/125s, f5.6 (all this depends on light and distance). Outside ISO 100, 1/250s, f8.With camera's auto ... Nikon D5000 Digital Camera

We have a new custom build PC from Data Doctors for personal use with Vista 7 and have a Samsung SyncMaster 191t monitor that was previously used for gaming and had a DVI cable. We bought a VGA cable but the Samsung monitor just says Check Signal Cable. We also tried using a VGA to DVI adapter, but that didn't work either. The monitor didn't even say check the signal cable then; only the green monitor light kept flashing. Is there a setting inside the SyncMaster 191t that would be previously set
