Over exposure The exposure settings on the camera have suddenly become fixed - I can't change them either through fixing shutter speed, OEV, or any other settings. Even tried a factory reset by selecting 'initialize' from the menu, but the problem persists. High or low exposure settings are visible on the viewfinder (i.e. changing the settings shows the picture getting darker or lighter on the screen), but once the picture is shot, it's fixed at an overexposed state.

I have a new (3 weeks) D700 and while taking photos yesterday with camera and a 16-35mm lens, the exposure meter went ape. Pictures taken ok but ERR started to flash where shutter speed reading should be displayed in viewfinder. Tried everything, including resetting to factory settings, detaching and reattaching lens, checking switches, and then went home in despair. At home I switched to a 50mm lens and the problem disappeared. I put the 16-35mm lens back and problem seemed to have disappeared.

I have been having problems getting sharp pictures. Especially indoors. I have the cool pix 6000 and reset all my settings to the factory settings. My pictures indoors seem almost "filtered"...not sharp at all. I took some pics outside and they are great. Shouldn't the auto setting adjust to take great pics inside and out?? Any help would be appreciated.

Overexposure When I take any pictures, the images are overexposed. Recently while in the USA, the same problem happened and I took it in to a repair shop. They reset it to the "factory" settings and it had been working fine. Now it is happening again, but as I live out of the country, I can't take it to a repair shop. Is there a way for me to reset it myself.

I'm not sure what is relevant and what isn't but... Two days ago I tried taking a picture on my timer and all of them came out blurry. I wasn't sure why this was so I started poking around on the camera and decided to reset all factory settings. Then that evening I tried to upload my pictures to my computer as usual. The software (Picasa) locked up. I tried taking the camera out of the cradle and turning it on but it wouldn't turn on. I rebooted my computer and tried turing the camera on

Dim Photos My G3 has begun to take very dim photos, all iso speeds are affected plus Auto mode. It can barely focus, even with the assist light on. If it was the light meter (setting too high an aperture?) it would probably be able to focus, right. When I take a picture it always sets f2.0 1/60 sec, even at iso400. Is it the image sensor?
Put the camera in to the full auto mode. If the pictures are still dark, it is possible that the apature inside of the lens is not working. There is a micro-motor, gear assembly, iris leaf assembly, and a servo amp circuit that drives the apature. Th ... Canon PowerShot G3 Digital Camera
My Fuji s2000 always shoots picture that are blured. I have tried many settings and different exposures however I keep getting the same result. What can I do ? The worst mode on this camera is the auto mode, I can never get a clear indoor picture. This camera takes beautiful pictures of flowers/nature and all outdoor photo's turn out beautiful it is the indoor photo's I have even tried the sports mode for when people move but I still get a very blured image
Found the same thing and I think the answer is the opposite of previous suggestions. The s2000 is truly awful at anything above about 400ASA The degree of pixel binning it uses just makes the pictures look terrible. Force the camera to use 400 or s ... Fuji FinePix S2000hd Digital Camera

My D70 was working normally when I last used it. I left it safely stored at my vacation home for three months, and when I tried to use it today it appeared to take pictures, all functions seemed to be working, but reviewing the pictures I see only a black monitor. Flash has stopped working on my Nikon D40. I've tried a factory reset, tried to get to the flash setting but that menu option is no longer available (highlighted) in any mode. I'm thinking it's broken and not a setting thing. Everything else works fine and it still takes pictures just without the flash. The flash pops up when needed but no flash obviously.
