Having problems with your Panasonic DMC-TZ4 Digital Camera ?

When I download the pictures to my computer they get all messed up. Some of them get cut in half or cropped into other pictures. They look fine in playback mode but not on the computer

Here's what I would do. Plug your card into a card reader and the other end into a USB port on your computer. Open the files, select them, and drag and drop them into a folder you create on your desktop. From there, you can view them as a slide show or import them to whatever program you want. Here's my card reader. It's only $13 at WAlmart.\01281e4be2.jpg

Also, the picture looks fine in the camera, but when we download to the computer it is merged with another picture that was not even loaded on the camera at the same time. We thought we might need to be more agressive in pusing down the shutter button, but this problem is really puzzeling us and causing aggravation. Can you help?

Dark Pictures Hi. 2-3 years ago my Dad bought a Kodak EasyShare DX6490 and it's worked just fine in the past. Now, unless you have full sunlight and a very bright day, it takes dark pictures. I was out today in the snow and took several pictures with it. While they look okay on the viewing screen, when I get them onto the computer, they're very dark. Can you help me? Thanks ever so much! My Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ2 camera has a blurred display within 25 seconds of being turned on when in any mode other than playback. When the display blurs, it quite quickly becomes unviewable, and if I try to take a photo, an error message saying WRITE ERROR PLEASE CHECK THE CARD shows on the screen. The card seems fine and pictures I took before today all look good, both on the display and in a computer. Is there any fix, or do I need a new camera?

When I view my photos I have already taken they look good until I try to zoom in, then the photos go fuzzy in multiple color stripes taking over the screen. Will my photos be fine when I load them to my computer? Is this my camera or my memory card. I put someone else's memory car in my camera and could zoom in and it was fine. I put mine back in my camera, took two pictures, and could zoom in on those photos and it was fine, but not on the previous pictures I have taken. I did plug my camera

Blurry Images Hi, I have a coolpix 5700 and sometimes when I take pictures with it and later go look at them on the camera's display they start out blurry and then "snap" into focus. Have a Sony Alpha DSLR-A300K. Let a friend borrow it and she used USB to download the photos to her computer. Ever since she did that, the camera does not work: specifically, all the buttons don't do anything (shutter button, menu button, playback button, etc). Any ideas out there to try and and get this camera to act like its old self? Thanks! p.s. when I get my pictures off the camera, I just remove the card and insert it into my computer; I don't do the USB method she used.

Sounds like when she disconnected the USB cord, she didn't use the "safely remove hardware" function on her computer. You could try a reset from the menu if you could get into it. I have purple horizontal lines across my screen when i try to take a picture. When i snap the picture that is all i get. The memory card seems to be fine in that all the pix stored on it look fine when i check on the camera. What could be wrong? The only thing of note is that i had the memory card alone in my cold car for a few days . I tried putting a new memory card in the camera and that didn't change anything either with the purple horizontal lines.
