Lumix DMC FX12-video image from SD card

\015 Loading video from the SD card onto my PC the video is split into two parts. One part, a jpeg still of the video clip & the second, a video clip minus the first image (now shown as the jpeg) How can I stop the video clip splitting as I can't use the video for blogs etc. I have only had this problem since purchasing the Lumix DMC FX12. Can anyone help?\015
