Images I seem to get yellowish images and images that are really dark even when I put the flash on. The flash seems weak, almost defected. But then in the next series of shots it will work and the picture will come out just fine. All of this in the same setting with the same subject and everything else a constant too.  Help please, it seems like I must be doing something wrong either that or my camera is broken. P.S. it is brand new Amber

No that isn't it but I am not offended. The flash in fact looks like it goes off but at 10% of the full strength. I had other people try to take a picture to see if the same thing happened to them and it did and I saw them, they did not have their ha ... Canon PowerShot SD1000 Digital Camera

Canon A560 camera problem - the images are overexposed. I checked the exposure setting, AWB, and all other settings and they are all normal. There is an exposure setting where I can set to + or - 2, but setting it to -2 does not help much. Outdoor photos are almost completely white. There is some detail in black objects. Indoor photos are overexposed. Flash pictures seem OK. The picture on the display is OK. I compared some macro photos taken a few weeks ago with macro photos now. The good photo

My Canon SD950 IS camera will take about 30 seconds to take a flash picture. You have to hold down the shutter button for a long time. The flash indicator flashes on the display for quite a while and then the picture is finally taken. This seems to have happened after the battery was run down to nothing. After that, this flash problem appeared. I have got another battery but this still happens. I have reset to default settings as well . Still has problem. What is wrong?

I think i have set something wrong on my camera and i would like to know if there is a way to set it back to factory settings versus going thru each option individually. The pictures are darker than i like even when using the flash. And outside pictures do not have the illustrious color they used to have. My camera is a fuji s5100. Thank you.

Pictures with a flash are way overexposed. It just started this so I am sure there is something wrong with the flash. Pictures without a flash are fine

My Fuji has started doing the same thing! \015\012\015\012The only way I can get a reasonably exposed photo is to place a piece of white paper in front of the flash to act as a diffuser.\015\012\015\012Any info you can find out would be a ... Fuji FinePix S5000 Digital Camera

My old camera was an Olympus Camedia c-765 digital. My new one is an Olypmus SP-800UZ 14 megapixel. The more I use the SP-8OOuz the more disappointed with the pictures I take. None of them seem sharply in focus like they were with the Camedia camera. Am I doing something wrong or is it a failing in the camera? I have tried most of the multiple settings but I am just not satisified. I thought with having more megapixels I would get a better picture. Am I wrong? Thank you

No, you are not wrong. When there are more pixels, the picture must be more clearly and you can zoom it more. Because you have experience with another Olympus camera, I'm inclined to believe that\012\012\012something is wrong with your new came ... Olympus SP800UZ Digital Camera

I am having problems with the flash working on my camera. It does not seem to matter if it is in automatic or manual modes. When I take a picture in either mode, when a flash is needed, the flash icon just blinks on the display. The camera will not take any photo when this is happening. The only way I can get my camera to take a photo is manually set the flash to off. Why is this happening?

Please reset camera through Reset option in Menu. This will set camera on default settings and any glitch in settings will be removed.Thanks. ... Canon PowerShot SD870 IS Digital Camera

Evil flash there is either something wrong with my flash or the light meter, but 99% of the time when i go to take a picture, the flash goes off. hood up or down, it doesn't matter. it seems that the only time the flash doesn't go off is in extremely bright light, i called customer support and was basically told to send it away for a million years to have it repaired, but is there possibly a more simple solution?

It appears that there is something wrong with the sensor that senses when the pop-up flash is up or down. Try cleaning the whole area with compressed air, especially the little gaps in the mechanism. The part that is defective costs next to nothing, ... Fuji FinePix S9000 Zoom Digital Camera

Flash Pictures I have a Canon XTi and am using a 580EX flash with it. The problem is, I have to set the flash at plus 1 1/2 to 2 stops to get a decent exposure. Is there something that I am doing wrong?

All canons tend to underexpose to avoid blowing the highlights. I still think this is a poor design / calibration of the light meter. A search of the net will reveal some folks who sent their xti's in to canon to be fixed and got them back better. Ca ... Canon Rebel XT / EOS 350D Digital Camera

Nikon d200 My pictures are coming out with red or yellow in it and I do the white balance with an expo disc. Did I do something wrong in the menu settings? I am shooting portraits with continuous lighting. What setting should I have my camera on? Also if you could give a good f stop and shutter speed for shooting kids that move alot - this is without a flash - using 500wt continuous lighting. Please help and Thank you - Thank you!!!!

Hello jenmardi,First, the fstop and shutter speed question ... For a lens of 70 mm I would use the manual with shutter speed at least 1/250 or 1/500, then the fstop I would set at 2.8 or just under this, no more than 4. You need as much l ... Nikon D200 Digital Camera with 18-200mm Lens

MY camera seems to be overexposing all pictures taken , so that I can not take outdoor photos at all and can only take photos inside if I close the drapes and block all natural daylight. It seems as if perhaps a settings button has been accidently hit or something...NOT SURE but I do not see how to fix it.

We have Nikon Cool Pix 8800 - we have struggled with the camera from day 1 having a long delay between pushing shutter buttom and photo being taken. It seems recently that the problem has gotten so bad that anything other than a still picture is a frustrating moment. We believe we are shooting on automatic. If there isn't a setting that is wrong we are clearly on our way to selling the camera but we don't even feel good about that the way it currently works. Thanks Lynn

Probably because in night mode, camera was setting depth of field wrong. So using flash and set in night mode was the problem. Flash problem So, I set the camera to 'Flash On'. I take a picture and the flash goes off for about a quick second. I look at the picture and it's nothing but a black background, sometimes white where I can only slightly see the object I took the picture of. What's wrong with my camera? This only happens sometimes, by the way. Sometimes I take a picture and everything's normal.
