What is the best setting & shutter speed for taking pics of indoor concerts a night? I own a panasonic DMC-FZ28

Answers :

Hi,
it is always best to test some settings. As a Fz 50 owner, I would go for the high sensitivity mode in scn. Or I´d go into P program, set a higher iso, 200-400-800 depending on the light. Remember, the darker it gets, the longer the shutter remains open - high chance for camera shake. Our cameras are similar, you could get along with this too.

I have a Panasonic Lumix T27 and my photos at night parties and concerts always turn out dark and terrible. Can you please tell me the correct settings to rectify this problem and for fast taking shutter speeds. I want the colour and photos at concerts to be perfect which so far is terrible. Thanks

At night and at concerts, the light level is low. If your camera is on auto, it will try to fire the flash. It's only effective for about 8 feet. Anything farther away than that will be dark. In these instances, it's best to turn off the flash, set t ... Panasonic Lumix DMC-LZ2 Digital Camera

I was at a basketball game last night and taking pictures with the d80 and the 55-200 lens. All of the pictures I took in auto focus were blurry. I changed it to the S mode with shutter speed at 4000 and those pictures came out completely dark with nothing in the picture. I changed the setting to the sports mode and the shutter speed is not fast enough because I have the same issue with blurring or out of focus.

Hi i am using a Nikon N75 to take pictures for my photo class, and the instructor wants us to take low light indoor phtotos at a shutter speed of 1/30 at f2.2. However, when i go to set these settings in manual mode the camera will not let me set my aperture to 2.2 it usually stops at 4 and there is no way i can make it 2.2. i didn't know if there is a limitation on the camera but it seems like i should be able to select what i want.

It's probably a limitation of your lens. You didn't say what lens you're using, but one of the common kit lenses sold with the N75 only goes to f/3.3 at best. If you had a lens that opens up more, the camera will let you use it.The differ ... Nikon Digital Cameras

Indoors it's always better to use a flash. Your camera will switch to proper settings automatically on auto mode. Indoors you can use ISO 400, 1/125s, f5.6 (all this depends on light and distance). Outside ISO 100, 1/250s, f8.With camera's auto ... Nikon D5000 Digital Camera

What are the normal settings for night shots on oly C3030Z. Shall I use flash when I shot on nights? If I set the aperture on F2.8 and the shutter from 2 to 16 sec. Are you sure you have the shutter speed at 1600 or do you have the ISO at 1600? If it's the ISO as I suspect, the photos will probably be grainy with digital noise. I would take a few just to check and maybe back it down to 800 ISO. Don't use your fl ... Canon Rebel XT Digital Camera
