My flash seems to be stuck in the "suppressed" mode. Also the Manual on page 64 refers to a "turn" of the "command dial" to the "flash mode setting". I can't seem to get my autofocus to work on my new Canon T1. The mode dial is switched to full auto, the fous mode switch is on AF, and the Image Stabilizer switch is in the "on" position. When I turn on my Panasonic DMC-FX55 the lens comes out fine and the screen displays for 2 seconds then goes blank except for the message 'Turn off then on again' - which doesn't work.
