\015 I use 3 SD cards from various companies. In a recent trip to Alaska, The first SD card (2GB) developed "black pictures". 3 in a row after a hundred pictures. These could not be removed from the card and I couldn't take any more pictures. When I reformatted the card I couldn't take any more pictures. Then the second card had the same three black photos in positions 1,2,3. But this card I could fill. (512mb) My last card (2gb)I had used earlier but it still had 300 shots available. I continued to use the available shots which registered, and the camera counted down I could see them in review. But now they don't exist anymore. and I can't retrieve them. So is it a virus, faulty cards or is my camera tired, and do i need to buy a new one :)\015

I have a FinePix 1400 zoom that has been causing a lot of problems. It has errors often when trying to write an image to the card and sometimes seems to suddenly power off when viewing images. It doesn't appear to be batteries because I've tried fresh ones straight out of the package. I don't think it's the Smart Media card because it does the same thing with 3 different cards of different sizes. Any ideas?
I've had 2 of the 1400s and never had a problem. Sounds like your battery contacts may be the problem. Check to see that they are bright and clean. If necessary clean them with a pencil eraser. ... Fuji FinePix 1400 Zoom Digital Camera

I first experienced a problem with my Canon S2Is camera when it was only taking pictures of blank images. I found a "fix" recommendation which seems to have gotten rid of the black image problem. However, now when I take pictures the images seem to have horizonal lines through them if I don't use the flash. Also, if I am taking a picture outside or in a lot of light, the image ends up being extremely light. Have any suggestions?
Think you need to do the fix more. Believe your shutter was previously stuck in the closed position. Now it sounds like it is stuck in the open position. Again keep trying the fix to loosen it up. Just to confirm, the "fix" you're talking about i ... Canon PowerShot S2 IS Digital Camera

Canon Powershot G10 image quality problems... I have had my Canon Powershot G10 for 2 years and have had the same problem from the start... it is now driving me mad! When viewing photos in anything other than the supplied Canon Zoom Browser or Photo Professional the quality is poor. The images are noticeably blurred and appear grainy. I normally shot in manual mode with ISO80 and record images in RAW+JPEG. Processing the RAW photos seems to slightly improve the blur (though it is still there)

Tokina AT-X PRO 28-80mm 1:2.8 lens has recently developed a problem when mounted on my Nikon D200. The images are way too dark and my only way to obtain usable images is to bracket heavily. This lens has worked flawlessly on film Nikons and, until recently, worked flawlessly on the D200. I am now also having AF problems with the lens. When I attach any of my Nikon brand lenses - no problems. Can you help? I really love this lens.

White out Every photo I take seems to white out, as if it is letting in to much light. But it is more than this, as it is possible to see white streaking on the image as well. I have also tried taking photos in various manual settings, resulting in the same problem. It seems to be a little better in doors. However when I use video mode the image is normal. This problem first occured on holiday in Singapore - when I took it into a shop out there they said it was probably the heat. But the problem

My Samsung TL220 lens won't close. It doesn't display an image on the front or the back. However, when I trigger the menu, the lcd displays "No Image File". It does go through and displays all the different menu options, so the lcd must be o.k. Could this be fixed with software or software update or do you think this is a hardware problem? ( I've noticed several TL220 that have this problem.) Is it an easy fix & how much do you think it would take to fix? Thank you.
