Having problems with your Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ7 Digital Camera ?

Problem taking pictures after number 48 is shot.

\015 I have a 2 GB memory card installed and the first 45 or so pictures are stored ok on the card but as soon as I try to take the next few the camera acts as if it took the pictures ok but when you try to view them the display is blank. I took the card out and placed it in a reader on my PC and still cannot read the pics. The card formated ok and cannot tell if its the camera or the card. Any one else had this type of problem?\015\012Thanks \015\012Don\015

Answers :

Are you using a panasonic SD card? The camera may not function properly when a cheap SD card is used.

I also have a FZ7 and it works better with a memory card of the same brand.

Also, if the card or the camera are old, they may be worn out.

The problem is that the button you push to take pictures does not work. You hold it down and nothing happens. I tried taking it back with the receipt they told me to contact the manufacturer. I cannot find a contact number for them. (Vivitar Vivicam 7022)
