The button that contros the zoom and shutter snapped off my camera. It appears that the tips of the three tabs sheared off. The small spring that brings the zoom button back to center is still attached to the camera. If you set the button back in place, the zoom and shutter will still work, but the button comes right back off as you take your finger away. Can a new button be ordered and snapped on? If so, where would one order this part?

Used Vivitar 70-200 zoom on my K200 Pentax. Nothing but aggravation since. Right now the 18-55 lens it came with is on but shutter button is stuck in down position and my flash wont pop up using the manual "up" button. When I look thru lens and push button, flashing "F" is the only thing there. Removed lens and button would move enough to "click" but would not come up. Put lens back on and nothing! Newbie in the extreme and ready to go back to my MX !!

Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H2 turns on sporadically. Once on it works fine. Shut it off and try to turn back on and it doesn't. Repeated pushing of the power button maybe 30-40 times and it turns back on again. Once you get it on it Works fine. Turn off and when you want to turn it on again must push power button over and over to get it on again. This happens with brand new batteries and with rechargeable batteries that have been fully charged. Any assistance would be appreciated. Doug Clark

Do you have a easy to understand diagram that simply describes the operation of the back side of the camera as to what all of the button choice mean, i.e. , bs, menu , etc. Also in one area on the back side, there is a square with a button in the middle and four lines pointing in different directions just as you would view north, south, east and west. I assume that 2 of the lines assist in moving the view of the pictures forward and backwards. Any help that you can provide would be most help

The power button is jammed or stuck, I have to use my fingernails or press harder in order to turn it on/off. However, it does not stay on or off, just that the button does not pop back up. I have tried using small sharp things like needles to hopefully pry it back into its original position but that did not work either. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

I bought a second hand d70s. it seems to have a problem. the shutter release button does not seem to do anything when pressed half way (like auto focus). I can only get autofocus to work if i program AE-L/AF-L button to AF-ON. I press the AE-L/AF-L button on the back, then press the shutter to take the shot. And if i set the AE Lock On, pressing the shutter button half way does not lock the exposure setting. so there seems to be an issue with the shutter button itself...is there an easy fi

Button-be-dead Ok, so this might sound kind of stupid but my camera was in my purse and I didn't drop it or anything, but when I went to take it out to take pictures, the button you push to take the picture was already half down so it won't stop auto-focusing. I can't zoom in or out, look through my pictures, turn the flash off, delete pictures, or change picture styles. I know it's because of the button already being down halfway but I really need to know how to fix it and get the button back

My Kodak V1233, isn't working right. If I turn it on, it will only turn on a second and extend the lense and then shuts off (it's fully charged). I can eventually get to take pictures, if I start by hitting the favorite button, and then the camcorder button and then quickly hitting the the camera button. I can take pictures, but can't see them, I only see a black screen. The camera will not power off this way. If I take the battery out, and then put it back in, and hit the favorite button,

The camrea turns on but will not take a picture. the card is not full. you can use all the buttons when you first turn it on but then when you try to take a picture it will not take one and then you can not use the buttons anymore. I have a HP camera CW450t camera and cannot turn it on with the power button on top. I know the batteries are good because I can turn on the camera with the review button and review the pictures that I have taken. I was in the middle of shooting a wedding, when suddenly my camera said that it was 'busy' - it was taking a while to go back to normal, so I decided to shut the camera off and just turn it back on again (I didn't mind loosing the last image). When I turned the camera back on... all of the sudden the shutter kept going off extremely fast (without me pressing the shutter button). I turned the camera back off, but the shutter kept going off. I freaked out and too the battery out to make it stop.

Blinking frenzy Hi Steve. I was uploading my pictures the night before and i forgot to dettach it. I noticed that the screen doesn't turn on, when i press the on/off button - a green light flashes while i'm pressing on it and the lens doesn't go back inside. Green light on camera back to the right of the 'delete' button continually flashes on-off about 1 second intervals as soon as battery is inserted as long as CF card is in place. Switching camera ON produces no visible operational indicators. Depressing "Menu" button flashes: hour glass; menu display; blank screen. Holding button down just cycles as above. Swapped lens, data card, battery, connected EH-5 power source; nothing makes any difference. Checked same lens in another D70 camera; it's OK.

Polaroid Model a815 just bought yesterday: I took pictures with it and turned it off to get another item to photograph.
