Movie shoot time and size of SD card

\015 I am wondering if anyone can tell me how to take a non-stop movie for longer than one hour with a 8 GB SanDisc SDHC card (2). Currently the camera indicates that I can shoot a 24 minutes and 5 seconds 30 fps VGA (4:3) movie with the 8 GB SD card. Strangely, with a 2 GB Transcend SD card (150X), I was able to shoot a 23 minutes 3 seconds 30 fps VGA (4:3) movie. 6 GB more memory only gives me a 1 minute increase of shoot time. What's wrong? Model Number DMC-LX2. Serial Number EP7GA01641R.\015

Hi. I have a 16GB memory card. I checked it several times with h2testw software and it's working fine. After I shoot about 4GB I start getting "unidentified image" when I try to see the pitcures. After a while I get "memory card error". I can get all the pictures out (without taking the memory card out). After I format the card it's OK again. Any ideas? Thanks

I think the max supported size of storage on this camera is actually only 4GB, that could be the reason for the problem, if possible try borrowing a 8GB card and test to see if you are getting the same error after 4GB of data filling\015\012 ... Canon PowerShot SX210 IS Digital Camera

Please explain why my G10 set on Superfine 'L' with a Sandisk Extreme III SDHC 4 GB card will give pictures of 4416 x 3312 pixels but a non consistent and small file size varying between about 6 and 9 Meg and no where near the camera's advertised file size of 14-15Meg? The files you are getting are the correct size. Each image will vary in size depending on how much detail is in the photo. The important thing to look for is the dimensions, 4416 x 3312 which are correct for the sensor in the G10.\015\012\015\0 ... Canon PowerShot G10 Digital Camera

The lens starts to zoom out & in for a couple of times; then this error message comes up and just hangs. Tried removing the card, battery and even tried re-charging the cell.
