Having problems with your Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ1 Digital Camera ?

I took the memory card out of the camera as it has pictures stored that I am going to download at the Kiosk at Target. But....for some reason, I am still getting pictures stored from a couple of years ago when I turn the dial to the back arrow. Is this possible???

Answers :

Hello, and thanks for using FixYa.

It seems you have taken some pictures with the camera before you purchased a storage card. those pictures where saved into the phones memory and they stay there until you remove them. Seems like you never removed them.

So thats normal.

I am trying to use my Olympus D-460 after not using it for ~ 4 years. I downloaded the pictures from the 16 MB card using my laptop with a card reader. I then emptied the card. When I pull back the lens cover, the lens comes out but then i get an error message that the card is full. I followed the directions for formatting the card but still get a message that the card is full even though it also gives me a no picture message. i copied some of the original pictures back on to the card and can v

Finepix A800 The LCD Monitor has a frozen skewed kalidoscope type image on it. It is impossible for me to remove it or to get anything brought up such as the menu, or to view the couple of hundreds of pictures that I have taken on it. Blurry pictures I have had this camera for a couple years and have taken thousands of pictures with it. I have been very happy until recently most of the pictures are blurry and look like the camera is not focusing properly. I am wondering if it is possible (if not common) for grit to get in the lens mechanism restricting the lens from moving to the fully extended position. I am considering a professional cleaning but don't know the cost/benefit when weighed against just buying a new camera.

I have owned a Canon G9 for a couple years. I dropped it back in May. Lens wouldn't retract. Did research - must get it fixed professionally. Instead of sending to CANON - I sent to Teleplan Digital Camera Repair (worthless hucksters) to save some money. STUPID! Horrible experience - just now received my camera back after them having it back and forth since June. After the fixed the initial problem I noticed having some focusing problems. Hello - I purchased a Panasonic Lumix DMC-T265 about a year ago in England. (I recently moved back to the US and all my belongings are in transit somewhere between here and England.) I went up to Mount Evans a few weeks ago, and the viewing screen of the camera just blanked out - the top 1/2 inch of the screen is still present, but the majority of the screen is blank, with a few vertical "lines". Can you tell me how I can get help repairing it? Is there anything I can do to trouble shoot it?

Crash I greatly enjoyed the D70 until it suddenly stopped taking pictures. I got the dreaded ERR message. WE tried different batteries, lenses, cards, etc., but to no avail. This is a real bummer.
