I just bought a fujifilm AX230 and it says you can film movies which it does but its only 10secs at the most. Is there a way to be able to film longer movies? Right now i have the 4GB SDHC card it came with if i switch it with something larger would that make a difference?

First, make sure the manual says longer movies are possible. You may only need a faster card. Most cameras shoot movies quite well with class 6 or better cards. ... Fuji Digital Cameras

Dim Photos My G3 has begun to take very dim photos, all iso speeds are affected plus Auto mode. It can barely focus, even with the assist light on. If it was the light meter (setting too high an aperture?) it would probably be able to focus, right. When I take a picture it always sets f2.0 1/60 sec, even at iso400. Is it the image sensor?

Put the camera in to the full auto mode. If the pictures are still dark, it is possible that the apature inside of the lens is not working. There is a micro-motor, gear assembly, iris leaf assembly, and a servo amp circuit that drives the apature. Th ... Canon PowerShot G3 Digital Camera

My Olympus FE-370 has a broken screen, my fault. I bought a replacement off ebay for really cheap and it seems like it would work fine, but I'm having trouble taking the camera apart..A few of the screws, three around the screw-in tripod holder in the base of the camera, two on the right hand side close to the lens, and one right under the USB port, refuse to come out! If someone could help me with just that part, I would probably be able to figure out the rest! Thank you!

Camera vibration I've had the camera for over a year. Some time ago I started to notice the vibration problem, but it would stop after a few seconds. It has been gradually getting worse. This past weekend I was using it to take pictures when it started vibrating and would not stop unless I turned off the camera or put it into view mode. Right now it is working but I'm worried the same thing will happen in the future. Don't know if it is something I need to get fixed or if it is more worthwh

Can I connect my camera to my PC with a USB cable and record sound from sites such as you tube while I film the screen to get both the audio and visual of a film clip. Right now i can do that by using the built in microphone in my camera and recording the sound thru the air, but the audio would be better if it recorded direct. If so, what settings do I need to make in my camera and PC?

I was trying to copy some videos from my new Panasonic Lumix FZ28 to my laptop for the first time, using usb mode. I was able to view the videos on the camera & on the laptop & copied a couple of still images, but when I tried to copy one of the quicktime files it said there was an error as it could not read the file. After that I have not been able even to turn off the camera - it seems to have frozen & removing the usb & plugging it back into the pc just says the equipment has malfunctioned. I

Dark photos I am a new Nikon user and have the D80. This is way more camera than I will ever need. I can not take pictures without them being dark not even in the auto mode. This is inside or outside I have two lenses and have switched them and it's still dark. I was able to change the exposer to get them lighter but would think you could take pictures in auto that would be fine.

I've owned my Sony DSC-T100 for a couple of years now. I really have enjoyed the camera but off and on it starts to vibrate, it has a humming sound as well. the pictures comes out fuzzy and blurred. Doesn't do this all the time but seems to get worse over the course of time when I use it more frequently. used to get better after I would take one picture, then it would settle down and do one ok shot, the next one vibrates, next one ok. Right now no vibration. What is going on?

Cropping I have had my Fuji Finepix S7000 for a few years now. I have always been able to zoom in on the pictures in playback mode and trim them. I have tried to do this today and it won't let me trim any of the pictures. From looking at the manual I'm wondering if the files are saving as CCD-RAW files? Any ideas how I managed to do this and how I get back to being able to crop them? I would be very grateful for your help.

My Nikon Coolpix 4800 is behaving strangely. In all shooting modes (except landscape, where it automatically zooms in completely and will not zoom out), it works properly. But in all menu modes it switches by itself every couple of seconds between the viewfinder and the screen and it cycles rapidly (with occasional brief pauses) through the menu items. By timing the cycling, I was able to reset it to the factory settings, but that didn't solve anything. Is there some way to reinstall or reboo

My Nikon D40x won't auto-focus. When I press down the shutter button, it won't do anything at all. If I switch to manual and back to auto, it works for 2-3 shots, and stops working again. If change shooting modes from single to timer and back, it might work for a couple shots. I have not been able to find any other solutions. Any suggestions?

The first one, only had for a couple of weeks, worked great at first and then when I would turn it on the lens would come out but there would be no screen at times. At other times the screen would disappear after a couple of seconds, but the lens would not close. I tried taking the batteries out and putting back in, but that did't help. I then took it to K-mart where it was purchased and they told me that it must be the c
