My Canon A430 Camera got a bit wet when I fell into a Dam this weekend. The camera did not at all touch the water, but a few drops of water did land on the camera. After drying the few drops off, the camera still worked for the whole day as well as the whole evening, but the next morning the camera did not work. The green light above the screen on the top left does flikker when the camera is turned on (which is normal). I am even able to take a photo and the flash works. Through all of the the s

Ref: Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ1 Camera. The cover plate over the LCD screen cracked (left side). So far, the LCD display itself is not affected. Is it possible to replace just the cover plate without having to install a new LCD unit? If so do you have a part number for the plate? I understand that cracking of the LCD screen is a recurring problem with the Lumix series of digital cameras and also that Panasonic has taken a hard line r.e. guarantee coverage. My camera is 2 months old.
