Having problems with your Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS3 Digital Camera ?

My Panasonic Lumix DMS-ZS3 has auto face recognition on and I usually use it with the intelligent auto setting and all other defaults. Is this why it takes so long to take a pic (long enough for the subject's smile to fade!) and to recover afterwards so I can take another?

Answers :

To avoid "shutter lag", you must press the shutter half-way and allow the camera to lock in the focus (it will beep) then press the rest of the way for an instant shot.

No connection between camera and computer, sometimes it connects but won't stay connected long enough to download pics. Its not the wire as it has worked with a different camera. The auto setting stopped working - I usually always had it set on Auto, then "Auto" became video (same setting as video setting) for some reason. Now, it won't take pics on certain settings and only lets me take pics on a fast setting, so pics always come out blurry. Sometimes won't let me view or forward through pics. I've charged battery. I was using my Nikon D40 at son's baseball game with the 55-200 mm lens & was too close to the fence when zooming since it tapped the fence. Now it makes a squeaky noise when trying to auto focus.
