Shoot at speed

\015 Tryed shooting go karts indoors (in sports mode) and thay came out out of focus.\015

Answers :

The sports mode on a DSLR just picks high ISO and fast shutter speeds for you. Go Karts are very fast subject to focus on, so there are two techniques you can try.
\015\012
\015\012One is to set your focus to manual mode and pre focus a point where the car will pass through. Set the camera to multi shot mode and just before the kart gets to the pre-determined point, hit the shutter button. The camera will fire off a few shots, then review later on a computer to chooset the best one out of the sequence.
\015\012
\015\012Another way is set your focus mode for AI-Servo or Focus Tracking mode, this will enable the lens to track moving subjects (as single shot mode is way to slow to keep up with karts). Go to the slowest part of the track to get more sucess.
\015\012
\015\012One problem you maybe having is that the shutter speed is too slow for karts. Being indoors the lighting will be very poor, so a super high ISO rating will need to be used to get faster shutter speeds. Having a lens with a very wide aperture (like f2 of f2.8 or even less) will enable you to get faster shutter speeds because they let in more light.

\015\012Good luck.

Exposure problem Hi,i'm using EOS 1dMK2 for 5 months now & i've noticed the same problem i've had using D60,1D wich is when i set the camera to top ISO speed & high speed continous shooting almost every second shot is underexposed for 1 stop, stangely this only happens indoor under tungsten or flourescent light.I've also tried to:set custom white ballance, shoot raw ,change lenses, set manual exposure & aperture. Has anyone else noticed this ? P.S. Parameters for both pictures are 1/250sec, f4 ,

If you set your meter based on the white (or substantially white) wall, as per the attachment, I would expect the image to be underexposed. ... Canon EOS-1D Mark II Digital Camera

Hello jenmardi,First, the fstop and shutter speed question ... For a lens of 70 mm I would use the manual with shutter speed at least 1/250 or 1/500, then the fstop I would set at 2.8 or just under this, no more than 4. You need as much l ... Nikon D200 Digital Camera with 18-200mm Lens

Continuous shooting I'm new to this so bare with me. I just got my Nikon D60 and I want to shoot pictures in continuous mode. I set it on manual, go into the menu and change it to continuous. I rotate the dial so it changes the shutter speed but when I take pictures it's just a black screen. As a matter of fact any time I try to take a picture in M it's just black. I'm hoping that there is just a setting I need to change and there's not something wrong with my camera. Thanks.

Hey man. Im not sure how new you are but basically i think your problem is you need to decrease the shutter speed to around 1/200-1/250 of a second and increase the apeture to around f10/12 and see if that works. If your operating at a high shutter s ... Nikon D60 Digital Camera with 18-55mm lens

Using my Canon XSi/450D, I'm interested in doing High Dynamic Range photography. But I can't discover how to make the automated shutter-speed range multi-shot (3 for the 450D) AEB work. I've gone into the menu and select and change the AEB range ( -2V) and pressed "set." Working from the "AV" in creative mode, I then set up my first shot with focus and ISO, and shoot. Now what? The 430ex flash is E-TTL, that means it adapts is power to the scene. If you shoot a scene at 10 meters, the flash will choose to flash at the max power, and will take time to recharg. Try to get closer to your subject, and remember that the flash ca ... Canon EOS-5D Digital Camera

Pictures a very overexposed. Inside I can shoot without a flash at 400 ISO and they come out right. Outside they turn white. Also the shutter speed won't register. I can set it at 125 or even 500 and it comes out at about 1/30 or 1/60 of a second. Lower shutter speeds are actually lower. This happened a day after I cleaned my sensor. Could that be the problems?

I have a Fuji S1000FP and for the most part it takes great photos EXCEPT when I take pictures into the sun then my photos are either white or black and no image. I will admit I just want a point and shoot camera because I don't understand shutter speed and such. However, I have attempted to change the shutter speeds and still nothing. I have tried all the pre settings as well. (This camera claims to be one of the better outdoor cameras. ) Can anyone offer words of wisdom on this. Ruth
