Having problems with your Pentax Optio E10 Digital Camera ?

I have a pentax Optio E10 camera and put a 4gb sdhc memory card in but it doesnt respond when I switch it on - does this mean it is not compatible or is there a way of sorting the problem

Answers :

The manual specifies SD cards up to 1GB. Cards bigger than 2GB are actually SDHC (SD High Capacity) cards and will not work in SD devices. 2GB cards may work; try at your risk.

I've had my Olympus FE-340 for 3 years, and I've never had any problems with it before. Now, whenever I try to zoom in, the camera takes white pictures or pictures with streaks in them. I've tried reseting the camera, changing the battery, changing the picture card, switching settings, and turning the flash on and off. Is there any way to fix the white/streaky pictures? Or, does this mean that my camera will no longer work when I try to zoom in?

Compatability? Hi, My new Sony DSC-W80 camera is not recognized by my computer (running Mac OX10.3.9).  The camera and cable are fine, since my PC has no problems.  The message on the camera reads "USB Mode Connecting... Switch on [MENU]".  WHen I go to the menu, it gives me different ways to connect to the computer, none of which work.  Any suggestions?

I set the USB to PictBridge mode (press home button, then main settings). Now iPhoto recognizes the camera and I can import photos. \015\012 ... Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W80 Digital Camera

My new Samsung WB650 camera has just frozen, whilst I was reviewing the various functions. It won't respond to any of the controls, and won't even switch off. If I remove and replace the battery it has no effect. If I then switch it on the 'on' light comes on, but it still wont respond or switch off. Can you let me know what has happened and if there is way to restore normal function?

Appreciation CanadaBruce I was browsing the website since I have a Nikon D80. Considering the fact that Nikon sells this as an amateur camera (meaning not a cheap solution), I suspect their Q&A and test wings are probably getting a lot of flak internally for the problems its users experience intermittently. Besides the F-err with 18-135 lens, I have not experienced other problems yet. I hope and pray to whatever powers there be it stays that way. One way I have tried to get around this problem i

Camera jam Ricoh Caplio R5 - tried to switch it on to take a picture, and lens came out part way but the camera then switched off. Flat battery perhaps, so charged battery overnight and tried again with similar results. Lens still part way out, maybe some whirring noises, screen flashes but then camera switches off. Any ideas? Dead battery / broken charger? - or problem with camera? And how to check (I only have the one battery)

All the R series Ricohs have a pretty complicated lens system employing 2 swing-out lenses which can get stuck pretty easily, or worse, broken. If you are very good at taking things to bits you might have a go at fixing it (I've done several that wer ... Ricoh Caplio R5 Digital Camera

Switch glitch When i turn on my camera it goes off again within a few seconds (or maybe less). I have to turn it all the way off (slowly) and on again. Sometimes it stays on (at least long enough for a photo) and other times not. Has been getting worse so now the camera is pretty useless. I am presuming that the switch has had it (any other suggestions?) Interestingly while it was under warranty i had switch problems and it was replaced so this is the second switch on the camera. Camera stalling The problems started after using my camera on a windy day at the beach 3weeks ago. I purchased my G11 end of Nov 2009, and just started to have problems this morning. When shooting, the directional buttons, control dial and func/set button won't work.
