Nikkor lense I have a AF-S DX Zoom Nikkor ED 18-70mm lense. Up to now it has been good for me. Now I have a problem. When I take indoor shots the lense will not focus in it spins like it is trying to focus but thats all it does is spin back and forth. Sometimes it will take (allow) a picture and the picture is very blurry. I have no idea how this happened. I don't know too much about lenses and this is baffling me, especially since I don't have any trouble shooting or focusing outside. Outside i

I have a Pentax K200D and I dropped it from less than a foot high on a rock (archaeological site) and now it won't take any new pictures. I can see the old pictures, I can see the menu and info but when I chose an option (like manual or sports) the information does appear on the screen. Also, when I take a picture, it seems to focus right, take the picture, but when I visualize it, it is completely dark... Finally, the flash won't come out if I press the button. You only know after you take the picture.

Harsh shadows we are trying to take pictures for a friend's small wedding - at the rehearsal today we practiced picture taking with both a Canon Rebel XSI (using both the regular lense and adding a telephoto lense) and a Canon PowerShot S5-IS. The problem is that we are getting a lot of pictures that have a 'hard' shadow on the people in them. It doesn't appear to be a regular shadow because it doesn't 'land' on the different surfaces behind them, but is more like a shadow attached to them. Any

Just had my Canon Powershot s1 is flash explode in my face at a meeting with over 30 people attending. I took a picture, the flash went up and suddenly it popped so loud that people ducked. There was also a fire/smoke smell coming from the flash area. Very scary. Those witnessing said they would back me up if suit filed. Checked the batteries and they work fine. The camera will take pictures still but without a flash. Hear of anything like this before? Recall issue?

Dim Photos My G3 has begun to take very dim photos, all iso speeds are affected plus Auto mode. It can barely focus, even with the assist light on. If it was the light meter (setting too high an aperture?) it would probably be able to focus, right. When I take a picture it always sets f2.0 1/60 sec, even at iso400. Is it the image sensor?

My Sony DSC-T200 also vibrates periodically. I've never dropped it, and 90% of the time, its functioning just fine, but once in a while (usually for the duration of a whole event that I'd like to take pictures at), it vibrates very much like a cell phone with ringer set on vibrate. It seems to be the autofocus lense since the focus of the picture is also oscillating with the vibration. Is there a tooth on a gear broken or something? Is this camera prone to this? Hi i just bought a canon eos rebel from someone online and it has a 28-80 lens. I try to use it and i noticed the focus is very loose, is that normal? I dont know alot about cameras but i have used manual cameras before and i have never used one with such a loose focus. And also would i lose slight focus if its like that when i go and take a picture?
Your camera is primarily an autofocus model: manual focussing is very much a secondary feature and is always very free moving. If it were any other way then it would cause the AF motor to work much harder and dramatically shorten the battery life. ... Canon EOS Rebel 2000 with 28-80 lens 35mm Film Camera

My Pentax K100D has suddenly stopped working. It hasn?t been bumped or dropped or anything. A few days ago I was still taking pictures, and then a day or two later when I tried it, it wouldn?t work. Blurry Images Hi, I have a coolpix 5700 and sometimes when I take pictures with it and later go look at them on the camera's display they start out blurry and then "snap" into focus. However, when I later load them on my computer, they remain blurry. I can't find anything in the manual describing this phenomenan but it really annoys me because the pictures look so good on the camera, but I can't get that quality on my print outs or monitor display. Does anyone know anything about this? I'd like
