Having problems with your Pentax Optio M40 Digital Camera ?

Optio M40 turns itself off and the lens wont retract into the camera when off

\015 I dropped it accidentally and scraped the outer rim of the lens, as well as the memory card being full, and now the camera turns itself off whenever i try to use it. I went on the computer and deleted photos so i could access the memory card but it still turns itself off so i think it might have something to do with the lens because it stays out now, even when it turns itself off, help!??\015
