\015 I have a Pentax Optio S 50 digital camera. The SD card will not stay in the camera. I push it into the slot, but it immediate ejects out and flies across the room. Is there any way to fix it?\015

Hi, the flash card card-eject lever spring is broken and wont eject the card. u have to manually push the card in place and pull the card out. the lever stays up until u shut the card slot door.once the card is in place the camera can read the card if images already exist. but...it will not record an image and shows up as blank on the screen after the shutter takes the image? is this the cause of the broken eject lever. thanks.

I just removed the SD card to view some pictures and now when I put it back in it will not latch and stay down. I have tried two other cards as well and none will latch and stay down. A small chip of plastic broke off of my SD card inside the card slot of my XSi camara. We cant get it out, & fell deeper in the slot (out of site) when we tried turning it upside down to shake it out. But when a CF card (tried different ones)is in the camera and you press the button to take a photo, the screen will either shut off clean or give a flash of scrambled image then shut off and freeze.
