My olympus stylus tough 6000 keeps reverting to internal memory even when it has a memory card inside it. This is usually not a huge problem because i can pop the battery slot open and then take out the card and put it back in and it will usually fix the problem but i will be scuba diving in the bahamas in mid june and i have an underwater housing for the camera so as you might see popping the battery open at 40 feet below the surface could have some damaging effects to the camera. Back focus My D300 looked like it was focusing behind the subject. I set up 8 objects on the lawn, each one 3 feet behind the other. I mounted my camera on a tripod, selected a shallow depth of field, and shot each object. I found that at close range, my camera focused fine. The farther away the object, the more the camera focused behind the object. I returned the camera to Nikon for repair under warrantee. They made some adjustments. The focus has definitely improved, but I don't think it is qu

Focusing problems Hello, I have been trying to take close-up pictures (between 4-12 inches away from subject) but when I press the shutter button halfway, on the screen I see the image come into focus, come out of focus, come into focus,.. on and on for several moments until it settles on the out of focus image. I've tried setting the camera to the macro and super macro settings, and that doesn't help at all. I know it can focus, because I see it on the screen but for some reason it chooses the

Hi, I have a panasonic Lumix, DMC-FS5 digital camera. When I turn the camera on and it's on 'photograph' mode, a message keeps appearing after a couple of seconds saying: "please turn camera off and then on again". I get the same message everytime and am unable to take any photos or even access the menu options. There are no problems when the mode is set to 'playback' mode. The images are still there and I can scroll through, as well as access the menu.

I just found my husbands old Minolta maxxum 5 AF Zoom lens camera. I don't know how to zoom in. I am trying to take close ups of my infant and it appears that I can only zoom in on objects 4 feet away. Anything closer is out of focus. Can someone please give me a brief "how to" on this camera? Thank you

It's not the fault of the camera itself, it's a lens issue. Zoom lenses can only get so close before the min focus is obtained. Unless you have a macro lens (not suited for portraits, which can focus down to mere inches. Most zooms aren't really desi ... Digital Cameras

My Fuji s2000 always shoots picture that are blured. I have tried many settings and different exposures however I keep getting the same result. What can I do ? The worst mode on this camera is the auto mode, I can never get a clear indoor picture. This camera takes beautiful pictures of flowers/nature and all outdoor photo's turn out beautiful it is the indoor photo's I have even tried the sports mode for when people move but I still get a very blured image

Found the same thing and I think the answer is the opposite of previous suggestions. The s2000 is truly awful at anything above about 400ASA The degree of pixel binning it uses just makes the pictures look terrible. Force the camera to use 400 or s ... Fuji FinePix S2000hd Digital Camera

Canon A560 camera problem - the images are overexposed. I checked the exposure setting, AWB, and all other settings and they are all normal. There is an exposure setting where I can set to + or - 2, but setting it to -2 does not help much. Outdoor photos are almost completely white. There is some detail in black objects. Indoor photos are overexposed. Flash pictures seem OK. The picture on the display is OK. I compared some macro photos taken a few weeks ago with macro photos now. The good photo

I have a Sigma 17-70mm F2.8-4.5 Macro lens working on a Nokon D40X and Nikon D300. For medium to long distances the autofocus does not seem to work with this lens. I think it used to but now I notice that from about 40 feet away the autofocus does not work. The same happens with both cameras. Other lenses work fine so I don't think it is the camera. My camera (a Canon PowerShot SX10IS, if it matters) has this tendency to move in and out of focus when I'm using the video recording feature. For example, I can start the video by filming a stationary object (let's say, a person speaking at a podium a meter or so away) and the video will be in focus. However, even though the person in the video isn't moving except for subtle hand gestures, the camera seems to start to try to focus on something else deeper in the background or closer in the foreg

I have an Akai digital camera model DC6371. On start up the lens pops out and screen lights up, but then the screen closes down and (often) the lens remains out even when the camera has been turned off. On trying to operate it again today, the green light indicates the camera is on for a few seconds and the screen lights up momentarily, but the lens doesn't pop out and the camera closes down again.

Looks like you have the notorious lens stuck problem. Since you said it pops out occasionally but does not go in, it is probably a faulty motor or some kind of mechanical obstruction. A qualified camera should be able to fix this for you but I recomm ... Akai DC6371 Digital Camera

Blurry images I purchased about a year ago a new Panasonic DMC-TZ4. And up until this point, I was in love with this camera. However, just recently, sometimes when I turn the camera on, the screen is showing images to be out of focus and blurry. All the settings are correct. Some times it stays like this for hours. Other times, I can turn the camera off and then back on and the blurriness goes away. Twice the camera has frozen and I had to take the battery out. And some times when I turn the cam
