Having problems with your Polaroid I533P Digital Camera ?

My lens is messed up

\015 Well my brother was throwing my camera into the air and catching it and then he missed and it fell on the floor while it was still on and the batteries came out. then when i picked it up and put the batteries back in I noticed the lens was crooked so I tried to turn it back on and it came on and made three beeping noises and turned off I kept tryin to turn it back on but it kept happening so my dad looked at it and told me he didn't know what was wrong with it and niether do I so I was wondering if you can try and help me with my problem\015

Answers :

It would be good if you at least provided what brand and model the camera is.\015\012
\015\012But based on your description, I can confidently tell you that there is not much you can do to fix the problem. The only thing you could try is to push the lens a little bit, to see if it snaps back into place easily. Do not use a lot of force, just try a light push. Too much force, and you could easily break it even worse.\015\012
\015\012You will most likely have to get the camera to a workshop for repair. This could be covered by your parents home insurance, so make sure your parents check that up!\015\012
\015\012I hope this help you!\015\012

It happened to me as well. If you can see the lens is not retracting when you shut it off, just force it to go straight in by pulling it our or just pushing it up so it straightens out. ... Nikon Coolpix L11 Digital Camera

I have a Cannon Powershot SD600, just got it recently and it worked great, then all of a sudden I noticed the cover lens's that slide over to protect the lens when you shut it off were messed up. Onle 1 was showing. I tried turning it on, and all it says now is, "Lens error, please restart camera." I tried the Hold Menu down for 5 seconds, but that did nothing since it doesn't even turn on.

The Canon series are fine camera's, but they seem to suffer from lens errors (check how many people suffered from this by googling lens error canon). The problem seems to come from sand/dust entering the body and jamming the lens gear. A h ... Canon PowerShot SD600 Digital Camera

I have an older pair of zoom lense Bushnell binoculars, 40mm with 7 to 21 power. I used to have a cabin in a very humid, mildewy area of Florida and it seems that the mold (mildew) has found its way into the lens whereupon it really messes up the viewing. I took the end pieces off and cleaned the insides with camera lens cleaning items and that helped, but I think the eye pieces need to be removed to finish the job. How do you do that? I'm not sure they are screwed onto the body! Has anyo

I am not familiar with this make, nor with zoom binoculars in general, but for a normal binocular of traditional design, you can take the eyepieces off together, as a unit, by dismantling the focussing mechanism. This is likely to be complicated by t ... Digital Cameras

Lens error When I switch on my Exilim Z-500, the zoom extends only half way of what it used to and there's some cracking noise as if something was blocking it. The zoom is at maximum, i.e. when I zoom in further it goes to digital zoom. But when I try to zoom out, it gives me another cracking noise, a lens error message and switches off. I can't take any pictures because the zoom setting seems to be totally messed up. The image is all blurry - at any distance. I partly disassembled the camera a

I can turn on my S630 but the graphic displayed is a mess. It is black and white with some truly unintelligible graphics. After about 15 seconds, it shuts off. Batteries are fine and the lens extends and retracts fine.

You might try contacting Canon. Look at this link. It seems like a similar problem to this although the S630 is not listed. It might still fall under the same issue.http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=PgComSmModDisplayAct& ... Digital Cameras

Up/downloading problems We have several W55's and love them, but 1 of them is no longer downloading to the computer. When we hook it up, and turn it on, the lens extends as though to take a picture. We put the memory card into the other camera and downloaded that way, but the messed up camera is about to go with my son back to California, so our "temporary solution" won't work anymore. Its as though the computer doesn't recognise that camera at all. If there isn't a solution to our problem, does
