I bought your EX-G1 camera to take on a trip to the Galapagos Islands because it was claimed to be an underwater camera. It worked the first 2 times I went snorkeling with it. The third time, I tried to turn it on, the screen was blank so I surfaced and found the memory card/terminal cover open and the screen was completely filled with water. We let it dry out for 4 days hoping it would start, but one of the guys said the battery was bad. Before going in the water, I always checked the batte

EasyShare Z712IS Purchased this camera in Aug. I love it but I can't seem to keep a charged battery in it. I bought some 2X rechargeable NI-MH batteries. Maybe they are not the right ones for the camera. Since the battery that came with the camera went dead I have tried these and they only last for about 6 - 10 pictures before needing recharging. Battery problem Kodak z712 uses different types of batteries and the one supplied with camera are non-rechargeable lithium type that die down soon. Camera specifications say one can use rechargeable lithium-ion, Klic-8000. Now while replacement klic-8000 are cheaply and abudantly available, is this appropriate to use them in this model? Some say the can leave the camera damaged. I need a solution because I am not getting the original kodak klic8000 in my city.

Hi! I took several shots yesterday and went to upload the pix on my computer today and when I connected the camera to my computer the battery was at 100%. Then the camera completely shut off. I tried turning it back on with no result. I recharged the battery with the same result. I figured my battery must be dead ( yet only 1 year old) and purchased a new one. I fully charged that one and plugged my camera in again and the same thing happened! What could this be caused from? No damage has ever

Batteries "depleted" my camera was working perfect with some rechargeable NiMh batteries i had bought, giving me about 400 shots / charge. However at one point, for no apparent reason, when i used them, they would be shown as 'depleted' by the camera after about 4-5 shots, shutting the camera down. My Nikon CoolPix 5700 seems confused about OFF and ON, and now I can't take a photo becase it won't stay ON long enough for me to press the shutter release. The problem appears a bit like a low-battery issue, but I have been placing totally recharged batteries (as fas as I can tell) in it (two different ones) over and over, and still the camera turns on and off at will. Any ideas? Is there a way to totally reboot the camera, like one reboots hard drives? Thank you.

I have had the Nikon D40 for about 4 years. It has performed wonderfully and I love it. Just recently, the battery suddenly died (in one hour it went from 3 bars to one) and after several failed attempts to charge it, the camera would not allow me to take photos due to the battery needing recharging (flashing one bar). I ordered a new Nikon battery and put it in the charger when it arrived today. It registered that it was charging and after over an hour said it was completely charged. When

After leaving my Sony DSC-T2 camera unused for only a couple of days the battery was flat. I recharged it fully but again it only lasted a day or two. I assumed the battery was dead and I purchased a new Sony NP-BD1 battery and charged it correctly. This new battery is behaving exactly the same as the old one, only holding a charge for a day or two at most. It seems the camera is draining the battery when it is switched off, or maybe the charger is faulty ??? Any ideas?? many thanks - Geoff
